I myself used to be a rajini veriyan earlier before i left for north india. I saw shivaji and i am sorry my dear comrade rajni veriyans.. this movie is a big bull s*hit Only the songs and the sexy shreya were good.. Thailvar is really become too old to do those type of dances and those unbelivable fights.. he should grace fully stop doing such things which will no longer suit him. But come the action /dialogue delivery.. thailvar is numero uno and should concertrate more on those lines in future. Last line: Think shankars stock is over.. he has started repating the same oold story/theme/plots over and over again. Very poor performance by shankar. -- By a rajini veriyan himself
If you are a fan of Rajini, keep it for yourself. Don't praise the film just for the sake of praising. I watched the film and I can boldly say it is not even worth giving 2 rating. Wafterthin Plot, Poor execution, out of sorts Rajini during songs and comedy in first half. He was more stylish in Baba.
The songs though were lavishly picturized had no real dances or entertaining stuff. Rajini was really out of sorts during the first and third songs.
THis is strictly for Tamil Rajini fans who like whatever he does. In all other areas it will run only for max 50 days with continuous decline in collections
Here is the reason. Why Newton Committed Suicide.....
Once, Newton came to India and watched a few Tamil movies that had his head spinning. He was convinced that all his logic and laws in physics were just a huge pile of junk and apologized for everything he had done.
In the movie of Rajanikanth, Newton was confused to such an extent that he went paranoid. Here are a few scenes
1) Rajanikanth has a Brain Tumor which, according to the doctors can't be cured and his death is imminent. In one of the fights, Rajanikanth is shot in the head. To everybody's surprise, the bullet passes through his ears taking away the tumor along with it and he is cured! Long Live Rajanikanth!
2) In another movie, Rajanikanth is confronted with 3 gangsters. Rajanikanth has a gun but unfortunately only one bullet and a knife.
Guess, what he does?
He throws the knife at the middle gangster? & shoots the bullet towards the knife. The knife cuts the bullet into 2 pieces, which kills both the gangsters on each side of the middle gangster & the knife kills the middle one.
3) Rajanikanth is chased by a gangster. Rajanikanth has a revolver but no bullets in it. Guess, what he does. Nah? not even in your remotest imaginations.
He waits for the gangster to shoot. As soon as the gangster shoots, Rajanikanth opens the bullet compartment of his revolver and catches the bullet. Then, he closes the bullet compartment and fires his gun. Bang... the gangster dies...

Hey.. stop all ur craps.I've watched all Rajini movies. I've never seen any scenes wat u've said in any rajini movies. Only ur Mithun does all these. Didnt ur newton watched Dhoom 2 ? In the first scene newton must commited suicide when Abhishek jumping from inside water in a jetski above a big cruise and shooting everybody in the cruise ????

by mentioning such cinematic events, what do you hope to achieve... nothing... you mentioned about commercial movies and in commercial movies, the hero just cannot die.. be it Amitabh or Shahrukh or Rajini... what happened in Coolie and Mard... Amitabh is shot, is hurt grieviously etc. and yet he comes unscathed.... the same goes with Rajini.... as they say what is sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.... hope you understand.. that there is no difference in commercial cinema.. be it the one being made in bollywood, tollywood or kollywood or even in Lollywood (Pakistan)

people who expect Rajini movies to respect laws of physics, why don't u guys buy a book and study. U didn't study properly when you were required to in schools and colleges and suddenly got enlightened in the theater watching a Rajini movie? what crap!Makers of a Rajini movie, his loyal fans or himself...none of them said they are going to make a ground breaking movie which will win a national award or oscar. Rajini delivers what he is supposed to, clean entertainment without much of blood, abusive language,obscenity etc. is that such a crime? We have kamal to do masterpieces.Whats the point in every film being the same ...realistic, thought provoking and an example of amazing histrionics! Variety is the spice of life guys! and those who talk about his colour, some of us maybe 'fairer' and some of us 'darker', but we're all non-white brown skinned indians. keep that in mind!
Shivaji is a hit only in TN. In the remaining parts its not doing well at the box office. In AP, because of Rajini and Sankar it got good openings..but in long run it will not sustain

Shivaji has great openings all over the world because South Indians like Rajini and Shankar. In AP, all the Shankar films are big hits unlike in TN. Obviously Rajini/Shankar combo outdid in terms of openings compared to biggies of Tollywood. Well, it may go well 50 days for sure. AVM has already collected 125 crore, they dont care if it runs further or not.

shankar is a lucky guy. his movies pick up. JEANS and especially BOYS wee quite sad....and his ANNIYAN had first day show, people walking out during the KUMARI song in chennai. but word of mouth made it click. ...so will SIVAJI.
Just wanted to know, is the movie "Sivaji" in hindi? I live in london and all the Bollywood movies here in the cinema have subtitles but i would just like to know about the lingo of this film.
