Its not necessary to be a good director to appreciate a good movie. By the same logic, those complaining about potholes in roads or bad doctors should by requirement be good doctors or engineers!

good logic.. But if you notice Usman's comments you will notice that he did not only criticize about the story but also said how you could make such stories by reading only 3 shakespeare movies. So I thought he must be a good writer director of bollywood. In one hand he said go back to Munnabhai aur parinda on the other hand he is saying you are no guru dutt. Any logic??

yes guru dutt makse masterpieces , vc can make only good movies but thats gone this is total rubbish anwar r u the pr man vc should pay u at least
he was good in dev and khaki , no actor can salvage this sinking ship its awful , now i liked the trailor of big b cheeni kum more this movie so i hope you leave this artificial designer movie alone and start talking of the tabu amitab cheeni kum
People writing negative about this movie are either Big B haters or did not see the film. My question is why will somebody see a film in its first weekend if he/she does not like BIG B? We do not go for Koyla Khan's movie even on the last weekend. wait for dvd, that also try not to spend a single rupee.

Sir you too have lost the plot. Actors are part of a great film but great film is made by the script and nothing else. Which was not there to make this film. No one hates Mr. Bachchan.

hi anwar.. i am a big fan of big B and i dont go to watch koyla khan movies but believe me this movie had no story.. just screen play and amitabh.. i spent 10 dollars on the ticket and i regret it... u doing a great job by trying to tell evone hw gud the movie was.. but the bottom line is guyz. It is one of the hundereds of the movies that we make every year..

Koyla Khan is the only man (though i doubt!!) has made some negative remarks against Mr. Bachchan. And I do not bring him in my comments. See my other messages. And to defend someone why do you need to be a father or mother? I try to defend everybody who I think is good in this world and we need them.
I really don't know what the director is trying to say thru this movie. Its a total waste of talent, time and resources. If u still wanna go to theater,better go for Rocky IV again.

Looks like you did not understand this simple movie. How do you expect Indian Cinema to improve if audiences does not improve their taste? Big B has delivered Movies like DEV and also movies like COOLIE ( The only man who could do it all). Remember Coolie was a hit and Dev was not. Similarly, Bunty aur Bably type of movie makes more money than movies like Guru (still running). What do you expect Bollywood to make for this country. Its your choice.

thanks for letting us know that you do no t films like harry potter and lord of the rings, batman , superman. They are also good movies. There's something called fantasy movies. If you do not like them its your taste. There are fantasy movies which even won oscar. They are artificial. Benhur and Titanic are to name a few.
The movie says the king agrees to send his queen to conceive with the help of a Sadhu because he happens to be impotent ? And finally Eklavya ends up helping the queen instead of Sadhu ? Come on give me a break. There were people in the theater with their families & kids to see Amitabh Movie. And the movie over and over again emphasises on this subject. It was a total disaster and the story was totally immoral. I had very high expectations and the movie fell short of everything. 1.45 hr movie, one song, no one smiles, Amitji, pls do not accept these kind of roles or stories.

Exactly. Films should be made of all types. Its the audience who needs to choose. There should be a wide open field where everybody could show their talent. why will there be unnecessary song? why will there be any smiles in a serious movie? Its you who should select comedies and watch everybody smile. Amit ji could easily accept movies like Bagban, waqt and make you smile. That's easy. We want Amitji to make Mili, namak halal, deewar, sholay, baghban, silsila, dev, khakee, coolie, kaala paththar, kaante, main azaad hoon, aks, B&B etc. etc. Chahe woh flop ho ya hit. Atleast we now know he is capable of doing all. You will hardly find a actor like this in the whole world. Name one actor whoes every kind of film has become HIT.
