Sanu is a completely NASAL singer. i think himesh is not even 50% nasal if u compare him with sanu.....sanu's voice is so horrible that it will not suit any actor. its absolutely criminal to compare sanu with the great kishoreda .....as regards someone trying to imitate him.....i dont think singer will be so stupid...

Couldn't agree with you more. Sanu is easily the most nasal and untalented singer who somehow bcos of some really bad music around that time (possibly with the exception of 1942 - A Love Story) managed to be on top for sometime. The fact that nobody cares a damn about him though his contemporaries like Udit are still doing well, speaks a lot abt his talent and his popularity.
here i would like to say that as far as kumar sanu is concened , looking at the current list of singers he simply doesn't fit coz 1.he hardly sings for hindi movies now days 2.non of his latest songs are/were hit , and 3.the industry is filled with new singers and composer cum singers like himesh , mithoon,vishal n shekhar n anu malik.
As far as lata madam n asha madam , kishor da , rafi saheb n SPB N yesudas are concerned they are legend. ::-- someone asked in one of ques. that who is SPB , ans is -- just go and listen maine pyar kiya, hum aapke hai kon etc.
All i remember of this great singer is his poor and absolutely rubbish effort in ridiculing sonia gandhi. i remember one tv channel had a news item during the last general elections wherein kumar sanu teamed up with another idiot and sang some anti sonia song (it went like some maina tu videshi hai na). it left such a poor taste in the mouth. here was one singer using his talent for something rubbish. not that i endorse sonia gandhi. i believe we unfortunate indians still are being ruled by a firang. but i dont go around singing cheap songs for publicity. mr sanu you reap what you sow. you are not only past your prime but have a serious problem in your thinking

Going to USA is no qualificatio.Even B grade, C grade artist go their.For reasons unknown Kumar sanu is has suddenly vanished. We hardly hear his songs now.

yesudas won this coveted award 5 times for malayalam and 0ne time each for hindi and telugu. Yesudas has one the beautiful voice in the world...he's considered only next to jim brown.
i think one should not compare shanu with udit or sonu.They are all good in their type of songs.if shanu was great in kutch na kaho so was udit in pehla nasha or sonu in kal ho na ho. Of the three i think sonu has a classical base but his voice does not suit all types of song.Manna de was a great singer but it was kishore kumar who stole the show in ek chatur nar bari hoshiar in padosan

I dunno how did he become such a hit...he was completely nasal & irritating....BTW nadim shravan themselves sucked big time.... 80's & early 90's were the worst times for bollywood music...now it is much better
