kUMAR SHANU VOICE IS IDEAL FOR A HERO WHO'S SUFFERING FROM CONSTIPATION. SANU IS A BAD SINGER THAT HE STRUGGLES TO GET HIS NOTES RIGHT QUITE OFTEN. HE HAS NOT SUNG A SINGLE SONG FULLY IN HIS STAGE SHOWS....AND MOST OF THE SONGS HE SINGS DIFFER FROM THE ORIGINAL ONES.

i dont remember having heard a single hindi film song by kumar sanu in the last couple of years, can anyone tell which was the last one and in which year? has anybody tried to analyse why all the music directors of today's hindi cinema do not want to give him even a single song...??
Yesudas, Rafi, SPB ,Sonu Nigam, Abhijit and M.G.Sreekumar an are those singers who can sing any kind of songs..whether its classical, rocking or melody.

Hi%u2026jotish%u2026.don%u2019t know how knowledgeable/qualified you are to make this list%u2026.but one thing amused me%u2026.this list contains names like Jayachandran and KK but not Mohammed Rafi who won 6 filmfair awards for best male singer that too in the presence of stalwarts like kishore Kumar, manna dey, hemant Kumar, mukesh, etc. who were in their prime. Buddy you need to brush up your knowledge of hindi film industry before passing any %u201Cexpert%u201D comments on this blog. Thanks.

dear mr. sheikh , you are right... I was just giving my preference or my liking..it doesn't suggests any ranking...Mohd.Rafi is absolutely a great singer and probably all the singers in the list learned film singing listening to him. P.Jayachandran is no mean singer, he had to settle for a second spot in malayalam and tamil coz of the brilliance of yesudas and SPB respectively. He has won the national award once like mohd rafi.

Hmmmm Here is one Mallu from downsouth trying to promote his brethren Yesu...hahahaha
You are right, GHANTASALA AND SP& BALAMURLI ARE not known in norht at all, as if they are non existant.WHATEVER GREAT singers doesnot need more audience to say they are great.I think there was no marketing for their voice in mumbai, whatever I like music as the medium of appreciation.Hope others also do the same.
Kumar Sanu held on its own with some fine melodies-Ashiqui, Saajan are most memorable. Today music is not respected in films unlike 60s, 70s, 80s or 90s. This is due to technological changes and the shift in tastes. In todays' multiplex, short format movies no celebrity singer or super star is required. A good story line, appropriate actors and a director who can think out of box. So the fault is not with Sanu or other singers-the world has changed and they did not.
Kumar Sanu is correct in a way though he sounded arrogant. The heroes of bollywood definitely good for nothing. I really think they have a great future being substitutes for India's sniffer dogs in the law enforcement depts as they must have developed a very sharp sense off smell due to the constant sniffing of the heroines in all those love scenes.
ghantasala is the contemporary of Mohammed rafi. ghantasala , s.p.& balamurali krishna all the three are great Telugu legends who ruled and continue to rule not only south India but north India.but unfortunately ghantasala is less known among the three.this is what wikipedia says about him http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghantasala_%28singer%29
