Kanu, it seems that u have not watched the movies like Amrut, Avatar of Khanna, just watched it.Though Amitji has done a wonderful job in Black but Rajesh khanna is a true superstar. Bolly. wud get more Amitji / SRK but Rajesh Khanna is the only one.
Amitabh winning award is a mockery of national awards . he should stop acting. he looks so sick & overworked.his performances are pathetic to say the least..........

As per Rajani & Mohanlal is concern in a recent interview after release of SHIVAJI "Rajani & BIG B both are praising each other if they don't have probs then why we have.
No one can match Mr. bachchan.Why people are comparing BIG B with others.I like BIG B & SRK both.but if I have to choose one I will choose BIG B.He is an ICON while SRK is not upto the Mark.

Mohanlal was in the race for the Best actor award for his performance in the film 'Thanmathra' in which he acted as an alzheimer's patient. Ultimately Big-B has got the award. Big-B is a living legend and he truly deserves it. It will be a treat to watch both Big-B and Mohanlal acting together in 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag' although Mohanlal's role is short. At the same time, don't forget that Mammootty has got 3 national awards, Kamal Hasan got 3 and Mohanlal got 2.
Bengalis are well ahead in this department but not proudy as Tamils. Well said chinmoy I agree the bengalis & malayalees have lot in common , they both wear white as there traditional attire , both are rice & fish savy and both states are into more soccer and both like contemporary cinemas , and you find the best & talented brains both in india & U.S from these states ....... hence Bengal & Kerala are communist & called peoples states with pride ....

As per www.wikipedia.org it is not mention about such national award like best newcomer or promising newcomer but if you have any other website please mention it I will check.I want to correct it.
As a Amitabh fan I will be glad if Amitabh had won 3 national awards.

But understand that North Indians cannot accept the fact that South Indians are exceptionally talented compared to them and so now and then North Indians gets this award to show that they are up to South Indians.
What else explains the reason for Saif ali khan's selection or Anil kapoor in Pukar?
North Indians just because of their sheer number always needs to dominate others be it in politics or in Movies or awards
Many a times south Indian actors had got the award, it can be seen that they had truly deserved it (don%u2019t take my word watch the movies and decide on your own).
But for north Indians it is always that they need a consideration from the jury.
The above is very much a fact, but the jealous North Indians will not accept it.

i think this is one of the most communalistic view i have read in recent times. its sad that now after the well known separation in 1947 when india and pakistan were divided, we have people who are ready to separate northern and southern india. grow up!!

Can you explain the Concept of IIFA (Indian International Film Awards) which only has Hindi Films in itself and projects calling itself Indian!!!! Hindi Wallas project hindi films as they are the only in industry in India making films and bring the entire Indian film industry to bad repute with their crap films which only has "Nachnewallas" and "Jatkewallis"
