Amitabh deserves to win National Award. He wons two times. one for newcomer. Amitabh is a real actor whereas Shahrukh is an Artificial Actor who always apes Legend Dilip Kumar, so, he is no more a good actor. Amitabh is Amitabh. Congrats for him wining National Award again.

we are speaking about actors not stars....but he is my favorite after Mr.Bachchan in many ways....i'm having all his film dvd's from Darr till date...i think i should give him the ninth position with anupam kher who too is a solid actor.
Amitabh is the uncrowned king of bollywood. He is one, who is an instutition in himself. No body can come parallel to him. The stars like Amitabh took birth in 10000000000 years.

mOST OF THE PEOPLE who posts comments here seem to be not knowing the difference between a good actor and a star. A star is a person who's admired by a large no. of people...simply because he's popular and not necessarily because of his acting.
THERE are only few natural actors in INDIA who's both a star(popular) and a good actor..Amitabh Bachchan is one. The others are Mohanlal and Kamal hasan. The other actors one time or the other has shown glimpses of their artificial acting. shahrukh khan is the most popular actor in India aftyer rajani kanth and amitabh bachchan but he's a below apr average actor.
pls undertan good acting and being a star is miles difference. filmdom produces good actors when the audience are knowledgeble and balanced minded. Thats one reason malayalam has produced many good actors and has one 13 national awards for best actor altogether.

Ultimately Big-B has got the award. Big-B is a living legend and he truly deserves it. It will be a treat to watch both Big-B and Mohanlal acting together in 'Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag' although Mohanlal's role is short. At the same time, don't forget that Mammootty has got 3 national awards, Kamal Hasan got 3 and Mohanlal got 2.
