Movie reflects the unique style of the debutant director. The way of presenting old wine in new bottle was awesome.The movie is a compelte visual treat. Kids were laughing their heart out pre interval. Great performances by akshay and salman. movie out and out belongs to salman. priety was not upto the mark.
The biggest problem with the movie was poor editing. A great editor himself (director) got over excited about other things.
Janeman is worth a watch with ur janeman as well as family. Diwali will help boost collection

I had high expectations from this movie, since this was another joint venture for Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan after Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
I was highly disappointed with the way storyline. A Husband (Salman) encourages his friend (Akshay) to woo his ex-wife (Pretty Zinta). The movie was unnecessarily dragged. The first half somehow passes as the first time watcher keeps guessing why salmans wife left her and how Akshay came in their lives ?
But then movie seems to be more predictable in the second half. It is not at all a comedy or emotional film neither it appeals the mass audiences.
The actors have done fair job. First time director Shirish Kunder tried to make it an Hollywood film with lots of animated scenes...
You can say it as a Matrix film in bollywood. At times one really wonders are we seeing a movie or just another dream...
I was very diappointed with the music aswell. I would suggest audience not to waste their time and money watching this movie, unless you are Salman or Akshay fan.
Instead I would prefer watching MSK again for thsi combination.
Great review! I identified word-towrod with it... Jaan-e-Mann is not only bizarre... its a "weird" movie (if i can say that!). There's nothing 'remember-able' in the first half except for the forced humour... and nothing at all in the second half... I'm certainly not recommending it to anyone!
Pradhan, I would say u stay at home watch all masala movies of 70s & 80s and of course... ur favourite Main Hoon Na. Jaan-e-man is gr8 movie. Performances r simply fantastic.
Songs r already super hit and gr8 as well..... far far better than don.
