Vidya does not know how to rate a movie...Rediff please do not give views of amateurs. Thanks. The movie is fantastic, well paced, superb acting from Salman and Akshay..Priety has little to do but looks good and the music is amazing.
The reviewer obviously doesnt know a thing about films. Janeman is a one of a kind movie. It is a spoof on every other movie ever made and is out of this world! I'm so proud that an Indian made this movie. And I think Shirish Kunder gets a big ten on ten for this spectacular effort!
dear vidhya, by your article on DON and JANEMANN ,its clear that you are great SRK fan.As the report and rating from any other website its completely opposite to you.
I think Jaan e man is one of the most lateral Hindi movies made so far.. the direction, characters, songs are all (maybe inspired) but still quite original for the junta in India. I could not agree more with the reviewer about the lovely and seamless transition from present to flashback scenes.
But rest of the review is just plain bad. Not only is the story line different, the treatment meted out is also something not seen in hindi movies.
Infact, i would rate this movie to be the best one i have ever seen.. comparable to RDB and JJWS..
I would suggest that the reviewer come back to India and watch the movie again here.
you are so right--the movie is completely over the top--looks like a completely spoilt brat was given a few millions to spend away--and he did it in this style. i was so shell shocked at the criminal expense of talent,resources and money done by shirish that i wud be off salman khan movies for a long time
Don't shed your years of frustration in personal life on a good movie like Jaan-e-man.
I saw Main Hoon Na when I was abroad and managed to borrow only this DVD that time. I was too desperate to watch a Hindi movie. And when I did see Main Hoon Na, my desperation turned into weird irritation. Neither SRK, nor his fair-weather buddies have a better non-sense to give to movie viewers. Shame!
So, go do your work...don't know if you are mentally fit to do that as well and don't publish your rubbish next time on Internet!
hi, i dont agree with u the story must be of the one liner which u said but the execution was very good. beautiful visualisation and good editing.i thought it was a good movie with power packed perfomances by preity,akki n sallu.the scripts had flaws but i think this can be forgotten bcos sirish is a first timer.well made movie shirish
This represents the only way that we servile Indians behave-just because 1 overglamourous wannabe calls himself SRK does not mean that he has the right to make mistakes which r taken lightly. When Vidya Pradhan pokes fun at Jaan-e-maan's sequences which she calls bizzare,she also asks viewers to see Main Hoon Na instead. Doesn't she remember the sequence in which SRK catches a Sumo by a RICKSHAW!!!! U would find that bizzare would u, Miss Vidya(SRK Supporter) Pradhan??????????????????????????
