i was planning to watch this movie as i am great fan of salman khan.but bcame hesitant to watch reading ur article.hoe r the songs i like the song ishq masoom hai.
i always enjoy reading your movie reviews, especially those by Raja Sen becoz he had excellent taste but there's one HUGE problem! Every review, EVERY review gives away the story! Can you PLEASE not do that!? I'm not particularly dying to watch Jaaneman but Vidya Pradhan just gave away the whole plot! Can the reviewers please stick to just telling us who's acted how, whether it's a well-made movie and maybe describe a couple of scenes, again, without giving much away? I think that's do-able!
i think the audience review for JAnneman and don are much better and do more justics then the paid reviews sent by the stupid raja sens of the world.. i think those guys get paid to write crap..
i saw janeman after seeing the 3 star review by rediff and i must say its the worlds worst movie.. also i saw don after seeing only 2 stars given to it.. trust me its a much better movie than the rediff reviewer make it out to be...
if the editors at rediff do ever read this,,, please fire the paid reviewers.. these guys out there living in calif and gurgaon are doing a much better and justful job.
I really fail to undertand how actors like Akshay, Salman, Preity and Anupam who are really good at what they do can take up a film which has such a pathetic storyline... It definately seems that they have done a favour to the Director/Producer and were definately falling short of some pocket money to have acted in this film. I really feel the censor should ban such movies at their level itself.

Although there was some funny parts in the movie, and the cinamatography, and music were great, i'd have to say that this is a very over the stop, melodramtic, UNREALISTIC movie. I'm sure they spent a lot of money on this, but the movie carries a weak plot and is obvious it was directed by a newbie director. A movie doesn't work only on special effects, good music and stylish clothes, it needs a good script and CONVINCTION. This movie didn't do much for me at all, I found the second half to be a real drag, and the ending was just unconvincing and fake.
