I haven't any of the movies i.e. DON and Jane-man and not in a position to comment on either. But I still cannot understand why the reviewer compared Janeman to Main Hoon na???? Isn't it like comparing apples to oranges. Is is SRK fanatism or a sheer cheap act of publising DON by bashing a non SRK film which happens to be doing better than DON with the masses??

One wonders how and why amateur reveiwers like these get footage on a premium site like this. Just as casting is an important aspect of movie-making, it should also be mandatory for movie-reviewers to go through an audition too.
Narrating the entire story of a movie is NOT reviewing a movie. Spouting your personal opinion about a movie is NOT movie reviewing. Let the movie-goers make their own decision about how good or bad a movie is.
Jaan-E-Mann is trend-setting, refreshingly breezy, trend-setting movie. It is at par with any superhit hilarious hollywood movie in terms of class & movie technique.
All credit for such entertainer surely goes to Shirish Kunder. Akki & Sallubhai did great performance. It's movie for the whole family without any overdose of typical melodrama. It's just pure entertainer with all the grace & class. Super !!!
Rushed to watch the first day show and sorely disappointed by the lack of class & intelligence of the director...bizarre,that's the right word. Salman does a great job and the film still fails, unbelievably poor direction lets down some good acting by the main cast. So painful to watch, wish Salman worked with better directors.
This critic makes me laugh.Actually she wanted to compare this movie and mujhse shaadi karogi starring same stars.And she mentions Main hoon na all along.This shows her movie sense away!!!
Clearly this person should choose another profession besides reviewing movies. Not only is it a bad review of a decent film, but its also badly written revealing some plot details which act as a surprise in the film. I'd say her review is ambitious, but fails miserably to deliver.
I watched Jaane-Man today.I find it really good movie.Both Actors have done well.Direction,Music,and song presentation is really good.It is even better than Mudghse Shaadi Karogi.Don't read this Lady review.I think she is obssessed with Shahrukh khan and doesn't watches hindi movies.
wow i feel good now ever since i seen don and came home all i have seen on the television is praises for jaaneman and what the hell was tht yes exactly tht was my reaction and sharukh is constantly been compared to the old don thts bull shit don is by far the most stylish and a really fun movie to watch.and after readind vidyas review im delighted
Jaan-e-maan is one of the refreshing movies ,i have seen after a long time,i am happy that shirish kunder has a very unique and cute way of story telling.Salman and Akshay sure hold your attention with superb performances and preity has never looked so beautiful before. one gud movie which is new and not a remake.

Jaaneman is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I saw Don the same day and while I liked it I preferred Jaaneman because it's simply beautiful. The music, the picturisations, the over-the-top characterisations. Everything makes its point and does it well.
Oh yeah, and though I'm a SRK fan I hated Main Hoon Na. Which world is this reviewer from?!?
