Its really a good movie.. dont compare this with BigB's Don, it a different movie... watching this movie is an visual treat.. SRK is superb as don.. but forget the logic... Boman Irani is awesome...its worth your movie.. and rediff review always s***s..
I have not seen the movie as yet but I still would like to see. SRK is the best actor. I am a big fan of Big B and he is the star of the millenium. I have lot of respect for SRK & his movies are worth watching.
DON(Remade) is an excellent example of how a flop action movie should be. It has all the drawbacks like
1. cast---which is never known for action.
2. story-- copied from a milestone.
3. Music-- just remixed
4. Dialogues-- heard and used by public many times.
5. Special effects-- like ramsay's horror movie.
An open appeal to all the movie lovers
Do not encourage such remakes or otherwise you will be the ultimate loser as the money minded producer's will just show you what your parents have seen decades ago. No creativity. No originality.

If u have watched the promo of DON, it says -- "The Chase Begins" undoubtedly Farhan Akhtar has really made it a point that The Chase Has really began.........
Seeing a movie which is remake, Watching DON, the only thing that would keep u engaging is Farhan's superb direction and THE TWIST! Not to forget about the exotic locations of Malaysia....
King Khan's performance as Don doesn't live upto the expectations that follows while u are replaying the great DON.....
Farhan could have made King Khan's entry more interesting and lively..... Moreover Don is more about attitude and implicit style-statements but somewhat Shahrukh doesn't fit into that mould. A passable first half where u may feel bored, same somewhat-Matrix-like fight sequences but there in Farhan Akhtar makes a Tales Spin......
Surely go and watch the movie ......... not for King Khan not for Music but for Farhan Akhtar.........
Hey Don is not that bad a movie after all... But too many twists make u so sick that the twist at the end makes u feel u r watchin a hero-centered Tamil film... But watch Don!!! if u like style attitude n above all SRK

I agree with you. This was a remake, but only the history.
This is just like making a Romeo and Juliet movie with the society of today. We can't compair these two films. If we had too compaire this films, they had too be exact the same!!!!
