This side Rakesh, yesterday I hv seen the same with an annugrated theatre called Basant in Ludhiana Punjab so good attempt both side projection wise and film making wise. Photography, Action, Choreography, Sets, locations everything excepts old and traditional story which was adopted version. Old lyrics were enjoyable but new one impression less. Star Cast was not good.Specially Priyanka, Isha, Karina all disappointed. But end of movie was really enjoyable and good. Congrates to Farhan for this attempt.
i think the rediff review was very harsh.. Although i was quite satisified with the movie..Well certainly we cannot draw any comparions between the Original & remade one.. Both the actors are superstars of their generation. But coming to Farhan's don.. it worth watching once. A well made stylish film. Climax is certainly the highlight of the film.. Gud job done farhan,.. A well executed film.
Folks be easy on Raja sen! he like thousands of others outside are going through a shock of shahrukh khan DON which is actually far better than old DON !!(perhaps it is out of respect for AB). Our girlie khan ooops shahrukh khan is extremely good and movie is gripping with lots of twists.You are not going to believe what our 5 ft 7 inch khan has done with AB over 6 ft personality! Go watch and enjoy!
Tell me what Farhan Akhtar wants to tell us? This movie is good but how can he make the real 'DON' survive and kill VIJAY. I liked the actions very much and Boman Irani was really good. But I can't expect these things from Shahrukh Khan. It really disappoints me. Hope the next movie will do some good.
what a crappie movie, SRK should stick to his mushy mushy roles and never try to be a suave guy, because he can't, Farhan's made a mistake but I believe he is taleneted enough to bounce back.
Farahan Don is just superb film .SRK is as good as Big B.The film has been presented is excellent.KHAIKE is the USP of the film ,but choreography could have been more better.I completely disagree from 2 stars that rediff has given ,film surely deserves 4 stars.It is SRK best film after KAL HO NA HO .Priyaka looks gorgeous in the film.SRK& FARAHAN deserves full credit of the film.This is a must watch film
Well SRK is no where within the reach of AB ...Remakes should be stopped immediately ...these Directors are making a Mokery of them selves by making the Remake of some brilliant movies and one of them is DON ....Amitabh Bacchan treat to watch ...Sharukh is complete waste in Farhan Akhatar's Don .....
How cheap it looks when copy cat stars like shahrukh use TV channels to push their film and pretend how they are paying their homage to the original. I think days are limited for such street smart stars and responsible TV media will stop playing to their tunes.
It is absolutely foolish to say that he brings about his own interpretation to the Don persona.
Just by using costly special effects and modern equipments no one can acquire the intensity and charm of the original Don's character.
