The fundamental right of expression would get curtailed if we ban or cenosr such works of literature. Banning such films or books would only add fuel to the fire of curiosity. Artistic expression is a barometer of society's evolution and in the quest for truth we should be courageous enough to challenge and accepts certain truths which hold the power even to shake the basis of faith.
all u people say that it should be screened but what if some movie was mande showing sita having an extramaritial affair with ravana would u like it and allow also just when m f hussain painted some pictures of some godess u all protested is there no equality among religions we the christians storngly feel that the movie should be banned.......period
Practising what? Evangelism!!! With Scores of Television channels promising handouts and free goodies if u join them in this so called "Proselyting"!!
This is the practise that you speak of??? And Not to forget the land and housing that was given to many people of the lower casts (Hindu's) in Southern Cities in the past few years for converting to Christianity!! So much so that this even Provoked Jayalalitha to move against this conversion!!
The success of the Book DVCode and its movie is not that it has won to convince some 'dan made' so called facts against jesus and The church movements but made the thousands like us to talk about it. It was the aim od Dan....he has won in that way...Let us not be fooled any more. There is an arena of a highly Biblical Scholarship which would be able to scholarly have a say scientifically on much about such matters irrespective of exploiting popular sentiments and sensations , but with erudite minds and dedication to the Truth.
The book and movie is released all over christian world. In India these self-proclaimed catholics are opposing it. Much like indian communists. Shallow Hypocrites.
Many people feel the movie should NOT be banned and they should get to see it. Movies are primarily for entertainment, but while people dont' mind being entertained at the expense of others, I wonder whether they would like others to be entertained at their expense.
In matters concerning something as sacred as someone's faith, what right does anyone have to entertain himself or others by hurting a communitiy's feelings. Is there joy to be had in this?
then how different are we today from the spectators of the Colloseium in Rome? Just entertain me today, at someone's expense, only make sure it's not on my expense!
I do not think that the movie should be banned at all.The truth should come out & people must accept & respect it.I donot know how this will degrade Jesus or destroy His divinity.I am a non-Christian but truly believe in Jesus & His divinity.
Definitely not. If anyone prefer not to watch, thats upto them. They are not forcing anything on people, its just how you perceive it. If not anything, take it as a fiction and watch it. Movies are for entertainment purposes and its always good to watch different stuff.
