Movie should not be banned
by Indian on May 18, 2006 06:44 PM

Majority of the people in USA are Catholics..but none of them have asked to ban the movie. If you want to see it, go ahead and if it hurts your sentiments, then don't watch. No one is forcing you to see it!

I dont understand why in India, people are so fanatic about such issues. When majority of Americans dont care abt it inspite of being catholics, why are indian people acting like crazy?

I guess, as a nation, we do not know how to express our feelings other than protesting violently, or calling for bandhs or calling for bans!

It should not be banned

Why should be a movie banned... the book doesnot potray anything wrong. in the starting we feel the church is behind all the murders, but it is not like that, only some members of opus dei and one of the main characters are responsible. A film cannot shatter the believes of people so easily, what if christ is married and had children. it doesnot make him less greater. It was his deeds and messages, which made others follow him.
