The review given by the rediff cine editor prompted me to watch PAHELI. After watching this movie, I can surely say that rediff people are SADIST (that 2 of the worshhht kind). This movie lacks everything...it has a bad script/ lyrics. SRK was pathetic and Rani was a disappointment.
Confusing movie with looni and loona.....Ghosts BABY.....and beleive me AMOL PALEKAR has gone nuts. Regards
hi guys i am a thorough movie buff. just wanted to find out whats the confusion about kannada film and paheli. with much difficulty managed to get one vcd of nagamandala. (though i dont understand kannada) watched it with my friend. and here is my verdict: yes paheli is a very bad copy of that that good original work.
Neither entertaining nor a digestable story. this film looks missing everything . The concept of a ghost living with a woman was not swallowable. Moreover, the songs were dumped and ineffective, very dull performances from Sharukh khan.
I think this movie is the Shahrukh`s worst movie I had ever seen, and to Mr. Palekar I think he should stop directing movies now cos he dont have any right to give audience a head ache in the theatre.
Well, I am not a fan of his. I am more a Bachchan guy as I grew watching big B. But I do however believe SRK is the one man industry now. others proposes SRK disposes, so to speak. There is SRK, and there are followers. He has undoubtedly westernised bollywood. He has brought the 1st generation indians abroad back to hindi movie theaters for the first time in the lives. The Rahul of Huch Kuch Hota hai had the essential NRI mannerisms that the indians abroad could instantaneously relate too. The Tommys, the POLOs, the GAPs, the ARMANIs and the DKNYs became household names for classes. There is no denying of the fact that silver screen gives rise to fashion at the first hand. We must admit that SRK is the modern day humphrey bogart with all "candy floss"ness he can adapt easily to, as well as a legend already who will be remembered to have contemporarized indian cinema. Don't forget, with all his wit and wisdom he has acquired over years due to him being well read and taught(he is probably one of the most educated among all of them), he is one of the powerfull producers in the business too. He is already a legend. No doubt about that.
Just saw Paheli, loved it. The film has spellbinding cinematography, sets and special effects. I agree that it is a visual treat. SRK the actor 8/10 and SRK the producer 10/10 in Paheli
i didnt like the movie at all . movie is unable to make you feel like entertainment .although the jewellery ,costumes were extremely good but cannot help in making a good movie ,it is full of unrelevent sequences .its a super flop movie
