Subhash Ghai is correct for most part of his list.
But i think finally he wrongly included TAAL.
This may be because in order to include at least one of his films he has done this. Ghai sahab plz have common sense . Taal aur top 100 mein Impossible!!!!!!!
Now this is the limit. How the hell can Mr. Ghai even think of Taal as one of the top 10 films ever. Sorry guys you suck. The mobile phones of your employees have a Kisna ringtone. And yours was the only portal/publication that praised Kisna. So how much did Mr. Ghai pay you guys?
when i see these bollywood film makers making such anouncements or statemants they all always try to promote the bollywood, not the whole indian cinema. there are many classical south indian movies which ran for years. Few movies are still considered are master piece of indian cinema (eg. manichitratal). especially i'm talking about Malayalam movies, which bags few national awards every year. why these bollywood moviemakers consider them and don't list those movies. Their have time either to praise foriegn movies or the bollywood industry. Don't think that i'm supporting malayalam movies, being a tamil and i respect and rate malayam movies first and best among all 4 southern filmdom.
Editor : i would appriciate if some southern movies are allowed on list. even they belong to indian cinema.
why has subash ghai included taal in best indian films? it would have been better if dil chahta hai or black was included.it is surprising that both these films are not there in his list.
Subash Ghai, is a dumb director, who has forgotten directing long back. He only know how to bask in the past glory. His movie Taal will not even feature in the top 100 Hindi movies. Maintain the credibility of rediff and don't let these self-proclaimed showmen to force their views on intelligent Indian public. No wonder the intelligent Indian public has rejected almost all his recent endeavors. And that dumb fellow hasnt learnt any lessons from of it.
The last 3 films do not deserve to be in the list. They do not show any reality or any class, but they are just entertainers. Many such movies have come recently. Moreover subhash ghai wanted to list atlease one of his movies, so he thought of mentioning taal which has no great work in it except for the music.
hi all I think Mr.Ghai has included best films of their time and all were blockbusters,but i am not getting how he can include Taal.It was just a run away hit.Major reasons behind its sucess were Aishwarya Rai and its music.It was not having good script like the others have and it was just a simple story.So i dont think it can stand in top 25. Sorry Mr.Ghai not satisfies with your tenth choice
