Could be true, I cant believe Saif got national award for HUM TUM. Movie was a definite entertainer , but his acting was mediacore to get an national award.
What nonesense is that? Saif deserved the award. If it was anybody else it would have been Pankaj Kapur for Maqbool. Shahrukh sucks with his same old 'rahul' thing. Atleast Saif got very well in to the character in Hum Tum. His performance in Hum Tum is the best beyond doubts.
This is a clear case of favorism. Saif has not done anything special in the movie and never are National awards given for films like HumTum. Shahrukh Khan deserved the award much more than Saif. He has given better performances than Saif's in numerous films till date. And when he did a diff. film like Swades..
He was dishonoured by not giving him the award which he so rightly deserved. The jury is sick!!How can they give the best Hindi film to 'Raincoat'. these decisions clearly show that the jury was not fair. The awards are a shame!!Sharmila must be behind Saif's award and if she is, then she will get the curse of crores of fans of SRK!!
i were really happy,saif won national actor award.
actully,he has miss last award from movie dil chahta hai as sameer ( sam ). but in Hum Tum he charetor was a cartoon artist.mindblowing acting do in the movie from saif.in serious acting when he act,he has look like his mother when she was a great actress in 1975.
Nobody says anything, if "Main hoo naa" can bag best music award. Nobody says anything, if Filmfare can put Saif's role under best comic role nominations. This year, A.R. Rehman was not even nominated.
National Awards atleast are not biased. Saif acted really well in the movie Hum Tum. but its rightly said..."In bollywood, only sex and shahrukh kHan sells !!!"
The critically acclaimed movies like " Page 3", "Rainkoat", "HUM TUM".. are sureshot National Award Winners. Consider Veer Zaara:
- In Pakistan a great number of ladies are working women, When Rani went to see Shahrukh the inspector made fun of her.
- The funniest of all Pretty Zinta went to India alone without telling anybody.
- The villain did every thing without any reason it was all stupid.
- And I did not understand all marriage and divorce thing in this movie.
- And worst of all it was released at the time when Indians were talking about Friendship with Pakistanis I was shocked that they are still making movies against Pakistanis.
Nobody cares about these facts... they worry abt petty things like - "Was Sharmila behind Saif's award ?"
I remebered enjoying Hum Tum. A nice movie no doubt. But that was it. It was no at all a movie to remember Saifs acting not was the story line. A good actor to perform also needs a good story line or character and none was there in Hum Tum. His acting was good, very good.. but well best ..no never. I think he acted much better in one of his previous movies where he played a bad guy.. I unfortunately dont remember the name.. I now have doubts on how the prize was given to him.. Sharmila any other God mother or father.. I really dont know..????
