Do I think Sharmila was behind Saif's award? ABSOLUTLY. It is very disturbing to hear that Saif won the award instead of Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan's performance is extraordinary and he is a brilliant actor.
It is sad to see that corruption still exists. I guess, people look out for their benefit not for what the reality is. Sharmila Tagor is a less of woman than I ever thought. How long is she going to do this?? No family members should be allowed on the judging panel in the future and also there has to be judges that do not discriminate.
It does not matter whether Shah Rukh Khan has won the award or not, Shah Rukh Khan still rules the Indian film industry and he is loved by millions of people all around the world. Shah Rukh Khan is the winner of millions of hearts. Indian Cinema is not and will not be same without Shah Rukh Khan. SHAH RUKH KHAN IS THE KING!!
it's really very funny cum disgusting to see saif won the NATIONAL AWARD & that too for humtum.he was far better in ek hasina thi (where he plays a bad guy).there has been definately some khicdi behind this award.
I agree with everybody when i say that his acting is improving with every movie but certainly not a national awardee calibre. Dont blame anybody, corruption is everywhere...
When the right person(especially the offbeat people) gets it..he gets the oppurtunity to do his next work..in this way the award is useful.only on a few instances the national awards are given to the right people...generally the selections are bad and this time its worse. the fact that "films outside hindi should ALSO be given recognition" is itself shows the biased nature with which the award commitee works. in india the best one's often get their award either after they die or they get it on their death bed. so..i give least priority to the so called NATIONAL AWARDS.
My heartiest congratulations to Saif on his wonderful achievement. I have seen HUM TUM and Saif's acting is spontaneous and versatile in the movie. He has improved since his Parampara days and he thoroughly desrves this award. There is no truth in the satatement that mama helped him win this award. In fact we were waiting for Saif to win the Filmfare and other awards in best actor category but unfortunately all those public poll based awards just hover around Sharukh khan,who is highly overrated as an actor.He is a superstar but Saif is a better actor than him. In fact Zayed khan is a better actor than Sharukh. If you remember in KAL HO NA HO the critics felt that Saif stole the show from Sharukh. In fact it was really funny that in this years Filmfare and other awards Saif was given the best comedian award for HUM TUM. It shows how everyone goes out of the way to please the superstar.
Hi I am joydeep ,wokin as a UN officer.I am a great fan of Saif.Seen almost all his films satring from Asiq awara.But Truly speaking the National Awrd for a film like HUM TUM is funny.Why not Sanju for the Trend setting Munnabhai,Ajay for Gangajaal? Thanks
