Every scene was created just to scare you whether it makes sense or not. What does vasthu shastra has to do with the movie. Pls movie makers take a look at the movie before you release it to the public. Pls donot waste our money and time on such stupid things.
Hi Raja, I was amused by your article. And more so on your vivid comments. I wondered throughout your article whether the movie is bizzare or the one who is putting the review. Fairly true, you hail from cult of critics and hence get known to us for your flair of 'critisism'only than for your 'technical' reviews!! Well, you are paid for your job but I have one question to ask you. "WHY THE HELL YOU POKE ON YOUR DIRTY SCRIPTS AS REVIEW ON US" I know you would very well say I should not read yours article. But then tell me whether there are any 'your cult' people different then you. Seriously speaking,Film reviews on nets and newpapers/magazines have reached to sickening stage. I swear on God that I will never read your review.I am sure that even the worst movie wont 'sicken'me more than your reviews Have a nice day raja. varun dhyani
This reviewer was watching a different movie or he's best friends with the Director, because I like scary movies but this one was just annoying. The acting was good and the photography was great, but the soundtrack was so full of screams and roars that it ruined the impact of the film. There would be a loud noise when a scene changed, someone walked by or even when a window was opened, it became ridiculous after the 1st 150 times! The DIrector says his film is original, but then he talks about liking Japanese horror films which I have seen many and which I spotted scenes from in his film...especially "Ju-On: The Grudge".
I really wanted to like this film and I probably would have if they removed most of the background noise!
So, Mr. Sen how much did you get paid for writing an A review for an excuse of a movie that is Vastu Shastra?
With a name like Ram gopal Verma attached to it, I am surprised that there is no shred of originality. It is a pale version of classic horror films like THE SHINING, psycho, nightmare on elm street and the grudge. The ending is ridiculus!!!
I am surprised at the reviewers opinion that this is a "severly scary movie, not for the weak hearted". I am easily scared and I can speak for most people by saying that Vastu Shastra is MOST definitely not. Bhoot was subtle yet scary. Vastu shastra overuses and most of the time misuses background music.
Anyway people who have not already seen the movie and are tuning to rediff for reviews, please watch this movie when you have nothing better to do. Watch the Grudge instead if you are looking for a real scary movie.
Hi.. I just finished watching this movie at 4 AM, alone with headphones.. this movie was not scary at all.. u are trying to scare people by this article..
