Most Employers tend to hit at the employees and have not much concern for them. Most awards are purchased. They pay money to some association as a contribution/ donation and then the association holds a function/ ceremony and gives awards to those who have contributed the maximum. It is a win-win situation for employers and those who give away awards. What a scam!!!! And newspapers also like it as they get news, free booze, free eating and free gifts (which every journalist likes). ha, ha...........

Certainly- an excise inspector- can make one crore in a day. An RTO officer can make 1 las Rs a day! Any inspector in Bombay city can make Rs 1 lac a day.

what's wrong if any body making good money, means not for free, some body is giving among us for the service they get.
Cognizant has lot of Cash and buys out smaller IT companies and building empire. It is like factory and senseless employees. (well lot of them, not all of them) It is like a shop with different windows for everything !!
Hero Honda products are loved by millions, the products must be made by best employees and happy employees. A diplomo guy with 3 years experience getting more than 3 years BE engineer in B'lore !! My relative works for Hero Honda, and sings song when asked about the company. When whole Gurgoun was shut last year in strike, Hero Honda employees went to work.
The top - 25 best employers above is highly biased and no clear fundamentals behind the survey.
I know many employeer friendly companies than the above in India based on my business relationship with employees of different companies. The swiss based companies operating in India such as Adecco, ABB, Nestle, Syngenta and SGS are more employee friendly and understand the employee needs far better than above companies.
One co seems missing: Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bangalore They are expanding like mad - almost in every city of India They believe in whatever you say - no need to show your certificates also! They are paying as much as you can ask - no bargain They have a hen laying golden eggs at Bangalore - where they underpay everyone and make huge cash This enables them to grow huge - everywhere Till Dr Devi Shetty is left with burnt hands Sad - if he drowns, he will take not less than 10000 families with him But - when it shines, make hay Enter Narayana Hrudayalaya - doctor or not You are sure to make money in this madness of theirs

I wonder how come mindtree made it to this list. So many people are resigning that its CEO thought it some kind of a latest trend and he also resigned . later he realised that he is the CEO. hahhahaha. Mindtree Consultancy( I will not call it limited)= Slave trading company. all the middle management and project managers should be stoned to death. The change there policies twice a day once before lunch once after lunch. What a joke. how much u paid rediff to be in the list. i guess less that is why ur at 19th place.
