clearly they haven't talked to its employees .. i mean. those who do work, not "manage". my neighbour works in Wipro Sales. They make him work like the Egyptian Pharaohs made slaves work.
i am shocked seeing Kotak Mahindra in the top 25 list....i am an ex employee of Kotak,in the broking division for more than four years. they come out with many branches with the MARKET BOOM...without any infrastructure. they even dint provide proper tanning to the employees & due to all this customers suffered huge loss & few of the low salaried employee was put behind the bar by customer. the company ruined career of many employees & thrown them away.
I have had very bad experiences with these two companies with respect to customer services. With the employees behaving rudely to customers when they request after sales service and company turning blind eyes to employees behaviour, it is no wonder, the employees consider they are working for the best company. Wonder what, when I told them that I want to escalate the complaint to their higher ups and asked them to give me the co-ordinates of their escalation points, they simply refuse. Further, in their web-sites, there is no mention of mail-ids where the complaints can be escalated. In my opinion, they shouldn't be even in the top 1000. Safe heaven for employees, no work, no one asking you what you do and no way for anyone to complain about you... really dream companies...
About 2 years back I bought a Set box connection from Tata Sky. At this time the scheme was one month free connection and then renewals as per necessity. I paid for the set box and the technician told me that the connection will come through shortly. It did come but the only message that came through was please contact your nearest dealer for connection. After repeated attempts I got the connection but it lasted only till the technician was in my house. On my repeated complaints, I was informed in an indecent tone that what they have given is much more than what I deserve. Now the set box is lying idle with me. Can any one help me in dispsing it off.
I had very bitter experience with Tata Indicom with their Photon Plus service. I bought Internet connection from them by paying Rs. 2400/- They did not even give the receipt for the money they got. I did not use the connection for 2 month since I was away from India. Till they charged Rs. 1700/ per month. No response when I talked to them, even I tried to talk to their Director Mr. Srinivasan at Mumbai, but the operators were given instructions not to transfer the call. I went to their office in Pune for the usage bill. They said they will give only if I pay the amount in advance. Now I am getting threatening letters and calls from the company. Later I even see such bad experience for many customers on the internet. Rediff is giving top rating for such cheating companies. Rediff! Grow up!!!

I know sir, How can they become best employer when customer is crying.
Most of the big company in india are good. they follow international standard to create merit based work envirnment. the real problem are small business. They milk the worker. totay unprofesional way. thats where revolution is needed. America is great because they have 50% people working in small buisness which is run equally professional way. In india its based on greed and nepotism and family favour. Its funny. Krishna said in geeta, kill your family for sake of truth and righteousness. Which western follows. they value truth very high than family. But in india krishna is worshiped only for entertainment. in real life krishna is insulted every day. people do so much nasty and immoral, untruth things for sake of family only. NICE.

The ratings are not based on one individuals bad experience but on set of parameters including Infrastructure.Management style,Transparency,standing with customers & track record.
