In India Salary is low
by Anuradha Rane on Mar 06, 2011 06:32 PM  | Hide replies

Indian businessmen are tyrants. They do not care worker's welfare. Hence there is no other way but to work harder in India.

Indian business especially in the unorganised sector are wholetime exploiters.Even in the private sector labour is squeezed to the max so that super normal profits can be generated.Mr. Thackersey do you want civilization to revert to the days of Industrial revolution? Moreover, there is more to life than mere money making. In India on the other hand people do not make enough even after they have toiled more than 12 hours per day.But the fear of uncertainty and loss of job keep haunting peole. At the end of the day it is the ruling class that benefits hugely out of dispensation.

A typical middle class perspective. more than 70% of the Indian population work in the unorganized sector. Just visit one of the roadside hotels in any city and you can see malnourished children working for more than 12 hours to eke their existence.

by anup kale on Mar 06, 2011 06:18 PM

Can not believe as I have seen it as led back life. But survey and research studies are based on number not on holistic assessments.

Seeing Australia ranked No.2 surprises me. Make me feel that some vital data was not taken into account.

Why is it a surpise?
by Another Critic on Mar 06, 2011 12:52 AM  | Hide replies

We, the Indians, are hard working for sure. On the other hand an average Indian lacks creativity and thinking out of the box.

Never say Indians are the hard working people, we are enjoying the most public/Government holidays in the world. If there is an universal wages...then we would be the least earning.
