An open letter to our Leaders
by Muraleedharan Manghat on Jan 22, 2011 06:51 PM

We should appreciate M/s. Azim Premji, Anu Aga and the other few industrialist who have come out with this open letter atleast now. With these Cororate tycoons taking the lead, we should expect some action from the rulers towards reduction in corruption. Since the rulers at the Centre themselves are the beneficiaries of a major share of the loot, we should not expect any drastic remedies. Imagine what could happen to our economy if only a part of the illbegotten wealth thro' 2G , Asian Games, Adarsh Housing Scams stashed in Swiss bank and other accounts are confiscated !!! Wish we had more Nitish Kumars to take care of the interests of the common man!!!

corruption within ourselves
by wellhome on Jan 22, 2011 06:50 PM

Corruption a part within ourselves, blaming or pointing only politicians will not be fair. There is an saying" no man is born he is made" likewise the person who fears doing corruption always criticises and at the same time if he tastes the money he becomes addict. Unless I am found a corrupt till then I will be a gentleman. What strong measures you suggest in controlling the corruption which is now totally injected in their blood, kindly let usknow, so that we can correct them, not corruption.

The corruption begins at your doorstep
by Harish Punjabi on Jan 22, 2011 06:41 PM

All these signatories are the ones who must stop doing things for which people in the
Government are bribed. They bribe and get
their jobs done then blame the Government.
Take the case of LAVASA. Certainly, irregularities of this dimension cannot take place without the knowledge of the concerned departments but they must have been paid to keep their eyes and mouth shut. So it is on
the comman man to stop bribing anyone. Slowly
but steadly this malice will go away.

Corruption and Congress/BJP are dear and inseperable friends.
by Gulzara Azad on Jan 22, 2011 06:34 PM

What do we expect from these two leading parties which rule states and centers by turn, now.
I think it is futile to even ask them since they are soi thick skinned and immune that no amount of shame and abuse hurts them any more.
Only redies seems to put them to sleep thru a revolution braought aboudt by Lala Lajpatrai kind of Patriotic citizens.God can be the only rescue if He can help locate such citizens and the reins of the Country can be assigned to them.Till then ,we have to suffer the agony of these idiots.
Jai Hind.
