Infosys policies and bosses...
by Souvik Jana on Oct 28, 2010 01:10 PM

Infosys used to be a good company.... but unfortunately with crap policies and low mentality bosses the employees are at their wits end.... people working there are just waiting to get a chance to switch.... unless they are the boss...

I think not many people think that way....
by Souvik Jana on Oct 28, 2010 01:03 PM

Youngsters are more practical now... they can clearly see that at home there are more opportunities than the US which is still down with recession.... Besides there is no festivals, no friends with whom one can chill out, very few social activities.... just to earn dollars doesnt make life.... And youngsters know that very well....

I would prefer to work for myself, not for some abstract idea called India. And by the way, this country is meant for all the scheduled, semi-scheduled, backward and semi-backward sections of the society. When the country is least bothered about rewarding real talent, and instead looks at which caste or community I belong to, I don't owe it anything. Brain drain is far better than brain in the drain.

Can anyone afford entire indian working class moving to USA? Is it not better & more feasible idea to replicate some of the good features of USA here, so that people live here comfortably?

Let him start first
by Speed on Oct 28, 2010 11:58 AM

Let him start first by making his employees work for india rather than sending onsite for some junk work and higher billing.
His company does all cheap level works, let him invest some of his profits into R&D. His company is like a banking and insurance firm working on all outdated technologies and working like a bank using calculators.

Your talent is wasted in India
by Venkateshwar rao on Oct 28, 2010 11:28 AM

Mr Murthy, lot can be said since you never worked under Crab mentality bosses. I worked to the best and the quality of my work was on par, if not much higher, than my contemporaries in the rest of the world. But my superior officers harassed me no end and ultimately I stopped giving my expertise with this Country. No, Mr Murthy let the youth of this Country share their expertise with foreigners than fellow Indians. Please let them grow well and earn money and fame. Please.

High attrition rate in Indian IT companies
by Iyer on Oct 28, 2010 07:32 AM  | Hide replies

We can understand your advice Mr. Murthy. High attrition rate in Indian IT companies including Infosys. What else you will advice? Stay in India, work like salves (12 hrs per day) and get peanut salary. Despite all get kicked out during recession for wrong reasons to swell the profit. What a selfish person you're are!
