Just because you (software companies) pay high salaries to the techies (more do they, is coding), the original softwares cost high and that's the very reason pirated software is thriving. Also, the original S/W penetration is not directly propertional to the PC penetration.
Mr. Murthy is giving great advice, no to US and yes to India! How about his own children? Mr.Murthy, do not try to quash the dreams of other aspiring people, once you have realized the dream of your children. You should encourage such people as you have done for your own children.
Mr.Murthy,you can talk you have the right of the freedom of sppech.So do we have have the right to choose and do whatever we want.mere lecturing will not suffice.Look at our roads, our public transport,our power situation,our corruption levels.We fare very poorly even compared to countries like Malaysias and Thailand.Look at our large(mostly bogus,it is not their fault though)poulation,it is major deterrent for development. Proverty stares evrywhere except for few islands of opulence.Why should not a youngster go abroad for better life? Poiticians make money,threaten life who rightfully challenge them our police and judicial system is in shambles. It is not your fault or your doing but when you speak from the podium address these basic issues and direct these issues to the governmentfor solution.

But by going abroad and settle there, can these problems you have mentioned be wiped out? NO. You need to be here are put yourself into the system in order to clean it.
As Obama is coming to India in the coming weeks, Murthy is trying to please him by saying - we will hire in America.
We need to understand that there are no qualified people in America to match the demand and on the other side, Obama is trying to stop outsourcing and he does not want India to do their work.
Also, both his Son and Daughter are in the US and are happily settled and now Murthy wants all Indians to work like slaves in his software factory in Bangalore. This is required to ensure that his cash registers continue to ring without slowing down.
What a great leader !! One rule for himself and one rule for others.
We dont need the advice of Murthy. If Indians want to come up in life, they will go wherever required and we dont need Infosys or Obama for that.
