website is nice but the customer service is Yusk....

Once I called the so called idiot customer care of RedBus for Pune-Indore tickets, the girl told me about some pickup point, which was more than 25 K.m. away from my residence, I politely said, I am sorry I will not going to book the ticket as the pickup point is very far and I will not be able to reach there after my office hrs,

Listening this, that girl became so rude and said me, Do the travel operators come in front of your door in Pune ?
I politely said, When I am paying for the service I can expect any thing any where ! and you are talking abt the bus, even I can call you in front of my door.

That was the pathetic and poor kind of service once I observed.

The feed backs here have been 50-50. In any case, I am an Indian working in Africa and never knew about RedBus. It made an interesting article to read and more importantly, I feel proud we have such entrepreuners in good old India. No wonder India is scaling heights at the moment in the world market. Good Job Guys! Good coverage Rediff!

I Called there call center and Cancelled my ticket once.They said they will give some kind of credit points using which I can book tickets in future whenever needed.But I neither received the points nor the money.Chor hain redbus.

Very Poor Service

I have booked 3-4 tickets from them last year. Their customer care is pathetic, out bus got delayed by 3 hours and we had to wait at bus stand. They dont call you to give information, VERY VERY PATHTIC CUSTOMER CARE STAFF. They vare only fooling the people and making huge money.

But they just book tickets - they do not run the buses.

Its the same with Airline Ticketing isnt it...if you booked via TravelGuru dot com for example

Thanks for taking time off to leave a comment. Like someone pointed out earlier, there certainly are exceptional cases where buses are sometimes delayed.

We're sure you got caught in one of such situations. We hope you understand that we don't operate these buses and there is a possibility of delay because of traffic or unforeseen events such as break-downs too.

This issue would have happened irrespective of where you book your ticket from. We are trying our best to bridge the information gap between bus operators and customers and you'll find a lot of the information that's not available else where on our website. We invite you to visit our site once again and give us another try.

We did face some hiccups in customer care during the initial stages, however, we have improved drastically and you will notice the difference now. We really look forward to getting the opportunity to serve you once again.

I am the frequent user to book online through redbus. One advantage is i always book at last minute, it will take less then 5 minutes to book and print from office/home. Great Idea!! Deserve superb futute.
