sania should disown indian nationlity or shoib should disown nationality?or both india and pakistan should make an agreement of same effect........
want to suggest like (pls think from macro level but not micro level, some people may not be able to go for this): -give the full exemption in Income Tax for the housing loan installment incl interest atleast for nxt 20 yrs -we should be honest to avail that exemption -more people will be interested to purchase / build flat / house -demand of cement & other building materials / electrical equipments / furnitures etc etc will increase -the employees from cement/electrical eqp etc manufacturing co will get good salary & will be interested to purchase / build flat / house -after purchasing a flat he will go for a car, again bonus/new emplyment in car manufacturing inds. -to compensate the loss on exemption to the salary earners in I.T, the boom in inds will pay the higher amt of tax on higher sales -aam admi bhi khoosh & chair for the party giving this exemption is almost pakka for next 10 yrs or so
What is more important is Per capita income. Per capita income and it distribution is fair indicator of the standard of living. 15 billion usd in 2050 with apprx population of 3 billion india - Per capital income USD 5000 would be penaut in the Year 2050. India really need to look very seriously.
Foreigners give feel good comments but we are cynical. If we are a stock, most will short it, sell now & buy cheaper later! The refrain is things are bad, going to be worse etc. It maybe a practical way to look at things, under-estimate & then over-achieve in the end. But the dampener is, most are dis-illusioned with our demo-crazy. It is like when the old man is alive, find fault but when he leaves, his absence is felt.
The young should be thankful that they are in a country where they can call the shots! Put yourself as a candidate with a single agenda, you will bring all Swiss hoards back - it will be a cake-walk! Again, our leaders are really old - why not bring a breathe of fresh air? Apart from the Swiss money to be had, there are other issues than can land anyone in the throne - like dynastic rule etc.
If that happens, we will find our tryst with destiny that Nehru spoke of when we became free. We are much stronger now with instant connecticity to the world. Not like years ago when Mao & our own held sway. Now, reward is instant but boy one has to work for it! We have enough resources & leaders with the women getting smarter than men, sigh!
We have everything but waste away on issues like somebody getting married to a foreigner, to get our angst in a frenzy! We have the intelligence but lack focus, just like our parents tell us! Just do it! But how, million dollar?!
