RT knows it well that to be a good human-being is a tough job and he is leading institution so good.Society which values its leaders well ,assures long-lasting servivals. While political institutions are on verge of break due to lack of good leadership full of moral-character,TATA stands firm with industrious zeal.May God give these honest people what they want so asto fulfil their dreams.
aundoubtedly Mr Ratan Tata is a man who should be a brand ambassador of India .He is much and far better than any other officer.political leader or industrialist of this country.well he should be representing 120 billion people of this country .It will be better if he is named as the next President of India .He deserves it unanimously.Compare with the one who is representing us today!no match to Mr Tatan Tata.
NELCO from where Mr. Ratan Tata started is no longer in existence. Nano is also ran. What ever project Mr. Ratan took to his heart were not a big hit, more a failure. Is it attributed to his SINGLE status? As per Indian Philosophy you will be a complete man only if you have your own progeny through your wife. TATA Group is surviving because of its 4 century built up, even if you make an ASS as the chairman the Group will run because of its senior executives. Retrospect, TATA employees and other Mr.RATAN worshippers.

it is not necessary that all projects one envisages are going to click beyond imagination some do very wel while others donot but he has a social responsibily aspect always in his mind towards the society in particular and country as a whole.Consider this aspect too.

Idiot Vaidyanathan - Initial failures such as NELCO are insignificant when compared to the amazing successes that followed to Ratan Tata's credit. Everybody knows that. Your talk of Indian philosophy advocating married status as a yardstick of success is rubbish, and now we know who the ASS is.

Try Sharad Pawar or Laloo who have amassed tonnes of dirty money as the chairman of any company like Tata They will eat away everything in the shortest possible time .So dont say that any ASS can do a good job.

Vaidyanathan may be a person like you cannot even save your own marriage or may be you may even be cheating on your wife, but a person like Ratan Tata are only born once so with all due respect please do not humilate this great person.

we should ,with all the force, and respect him and his thoughts.I second your views completely.
One doubts very much whether the name TATA will be around in 100 years from now. The ambition to quit India at any cost (after debacles like B'lore airport, Tata - Singapore Airlines etc.) is going to cost the group dear. Foolhardy decisions like CORUS, JLR could be the beginnibg of the end. Unreasonably high TCL price will bail them out for some time. But, how long? It's a dog-eats-dog world in business. Sentiments have no place in business. Any decision that does not make economic sense can be detrimental in the short as well as the long run.

Keep doubting....... they are already there for more than 200 years. Please understand Mr. RT speaks from the point where most of the Indian Business leader stop thinking. There are ofcourse things like sensitivity, humnity else the dog eat dog business will become a battle of dogs only.
Ratan Tata is trying his best to come out of the shadows of JRD. JRD used to do social service in an era wherein Tatas had no competition. There was no need for him to create goodwill, since his products were all monopolies. The social resposibility of Tatas have been xposed in Singur, wherein their business interests have prevailed in by shifting the factory elsewhere. He should have kept his promise to people of Bengal by shifting his factory elsewhere in Bengal only. Bengalies feel betrayed, hence are now supporting Mamata. His loyalty to Bengal would have taken the wind out of the sails of Mamata. Tatas are proving yet another business house , a far cry from what it had been under JRD.

please a place has to attract investor. feasible environment is good bussiness sense. hostility towrads the guest investor is not the way to go about. 60s, 70s days are gone. wake up bengal or whether it is Mamta, buddha or some other dingbat, wake up or forget about turn around. People out of bengal do not trust the bengali political trade unions.
nano wouldn't help rural people, get at least 2 times of proper healthy meal, large number people still sleep hungry, and billions of people find it hard to even get 1 time meal..your nano certainly wouldn't help them..surprising is that TATA didn't ever invested in agriculture and they are doing social services but mostly in urban cities. lots of agricultural land which is unused can be utilised by TATA groups and with investment they get great yield which itself will be a new dawn for hard earning indian farmers...Mr. Ratan TATA now concentrate in this sector, I am sure in 50 years he will called angel if he is able to make sure that no body sleeps without a meal.
