Sri. Kamaraj the then chief minister of Tamilnadu, during 1954-63, introduced free schooling with mid day free meals for the children irrespective of their parent's income. that accelerated the literacy level put the Tamilnadu on the forward path.

his common sense and sincere approach differed from the other politicians of his era that included the Jawaharlal Nehru and his ilks.

PRESS RELEASE OF DR.SUBRAMANIAN SWAMY IN 2010

November 24, 2010.

Dr. Manmohan Singh,
Prime Minister of India,
South Block,
New Delhi.

Dear Prime Minister:

You may by now have realized that the 2G Spectrum scandal is not only bad for the country in the dimension of corruption, but now it emerges that there is a national security dimension too. The RAW, IB, CBI, ED all have enough material which they may have placed before you regarding the dubious aspects of the principal player in this scam.

According to my information two sisters, Anushka and Nadia, of Ms Sonia Gandhi had received sixty percent of the kickbacks in this deal i.e. Rs.18,000 crores each. The frequent travel of Sonia Gandhi and her immediate family to Malaysia, Hongkong, Dubai and parts of Europe including London requires to be probed under the law. What requires your special attention is the mode of the travel, not by commercial airliners, but by jets provided by the corporate sector which itself is illegal under the DGCA Rules. I find that often Ms.Sonia Gandhi and family have traveled to Dubai and then traveled onwards on private jets provided by dubious Arab business interests to Europe. It is not clear on what passport they have traveled. In Dubai they were felicitated by agencies of countries which are hostile to India including that of Pakistan.

You can no more not take a stand when evil is permeating in the country in the form of terrorism, religious conversion and demographic infilt

Arrest Sonia Gandhi immediately on the basis of these allegations. Confiscate her passports and seal all accounts in India and abroad. But who will do it? Manmohan and Chiddu are busy washing her plates!

Message below are blamers, full of negative attitude. I agree rural india is still bad. But compare it with 20 years ago. now atleast they are connected to road, phone. Atleast have tv. know way to growth is being good consumers. help run private shops, offices. 20 years ago people lived in fool's paradise. Govt should give me job, and fulfill all needs'. what an idiot. As if few hundred lezy govt emloyee have magic button.
Now atleast people have woken up to the harsh reality. I agree prices are high, not many jobs are bring created in rural areas. But there is no short cut. we are modeling the successful economy. its hard now, but it will get bettter. All we need is use technology to produce more goods and servies that will bring down prices and poor will live better life too. but it takes time. those blamers, do you have a magic button. go ahead and press it you moron.

I agree. When I graduated in 1991, Reforms just began. I remember my seniors from good collages waiting 2-3 years for a job. ANY BLOODY JOB!!

I had to leave india. 20 years hence, I dont think I would have make the same decision now.

Reading this msg brd it shows the real problem of india. It is illiteracy. Google can solve the prolem of information but not software can solve the problem of lack of logic.

dont compares something with 20 years back. Even somalia had developed much more than what it was 20 years back.

What is the change in Health sector in 20 years
What is the change in Primary education in 20 years
Clean Drinking water - What is the change in 20 years

These are the important basic parameters of a developed country

To conclude: 20 years before farmers were in better position than today.

It is a planted story by government
by Rajendra Gupta on Dec 05, 2010 01:44 PM  | Hide replies

If some one is working in columbia university it does not mean he is angel and great.
All he is talking is crap.Fact remains that if we see major metrics of economics Indian reforms are big failure.Price rise of commodities is 300% and property 700% since this MM Singh took over PM seat to hide filth of sonia mafia.he had turned out to be a dud and third rate PM India never had. India cant do double digit growth. We have no land, resources and raw materials.IT is thoroughly corrupt country with poor productivity.law and order is virtually zero.MM Singh should have gone for structural reforms first. With 20% PA price rise growth is actually highly negative.China also has only 4.5% inflation.
India should aim only for three sixes 6% GDP growth,6% inflation rate and 6% interest rates.period.Indians should, not fly in air.No country specially like India can grow in isolation from world at higher speed continuously. It is impossible. And what is hurry for India?
