All this scheme to ask for price bands is official way to get illegal fares installed by government of India.It is sheer loot and all educated people of India should boycott airlines and of course expel this rotten sonia party from elections.After that all dirty wealth of these congress guys should be recovered>Let comnsumer power be seen.Every one stop flying and dont wait for others to tell you or do it.

capitalism is good for the economy ... tax payers cannot continue to subsidize stuff for people who dont make enough or dont want to spend more

Another big mockery is subsidies - They say diesel , kerosene and LPG are subsidised - but Govy charges excise duty and sales tax on these products. Also in no other country medical expenses reimbursed by employer is treated as income and taxed - if I have to describe this govt - I will have to use the most unparliamentary words

If Govt. doesn't tax then how can the politicians pocket money? Subsidy is just hoax. You charge so much tax on diesel, LPG and subsidize it means nothing. It still works out to be more than 200% than the actual purchase price.
You think these politicians who want power at any cost do it in love for India? Not at all! These are the guys who salute the Tiranga in the morning and wipe their asses with the same in the evening. I've no respect for these politicians - looters of common people. Name any political party - all are the same.
people should relax and not make any noises , it is just to blackmail airlines for money , if they (airlines) shell out some money to sharad pawar and praful patel gang prices will come down automatically at present level. don't let sharad pawar and praful patel laugh at our stupid comments
