1) Most corrupt people – Politicians, bureaucrats, Purchase Managers, etc. Corruption is in our blood. 2) Most discriminative people based on anything - religion, caste, region, first name, second name, sub-religion, sub-caste, gotra, etc. etc. 3) Most unsafe, derogatory to women. Dowry. Pre-natal test and killing. 4) Carnage on the roads – most killings on road accidents 5) Most un-civil. We are the oldest un-civilization and continue to be un-civilized. 6) Most uncaring. If an accident victim lies on the road, we just pass by. 7) Most aggressive - road rage is an example 8) People often fall and die in pits, wells left un-covered by contractors. 9) Contractors in connivance with corrupt bureaucrats do a poor quality job. As a result the roads get broken in the very first rain. 10) Most un-educated 11) Least productive. 70% of population is engaged in agriculture 12) Maximum mafia culture - land mafia, parking lot mafia, rail reservation mafia, you name it and we have it. 13) Most un-accommodating. If parking light goes off, we crowd each other and then the traffic just stops. 14) Worst Infrastructure. Just a little rain can flood the cities 15) Most problems - Water, Power, etc. etc. 16) Most desperate to settle abroad Still India is our country after all. So, let us say Mera Bharat Mahan.

these r common qualities in the ppl of world at large. every country is corupt including usa, ussr, etc.
In India, democracy means corruption, favoritism by Congress Government at the cost of citizens. This is going on for the last 62 years. We need independence from Congress rule. We are still not ready for democracy since we do not elect based on performance, agenda of party. Why not have presidential form of government like US or even British rule once again.
Even in small complex consisting of 15 flats, the builder violated the sanctioned plan approvals for construction in Door.No.6-3-630, Sai Sharan Apts. and also constructed two pent houses equivalent to four flats in third floor and a flat in the cellar and gave No.6-3-630/307 to bluff the MCH authorities that it is in third floor. None is questioning because most of the flats are on rent and the other owners are related or sympethetic to the builder who occupies the pent houses and the cellar flat. The builder is a rich fellow and have political connections. Despite complaints the authorities are afraid of taking any punitive action. That is democracy in India. Onely money rules nothing else.
Even in a small flat complex the builder tries to boss over the buyers of flats. They take plan approval in one manner and construct flats over and above the sanctioned plan with the definite understanding with the authorities, that they can do illegal construction and at a future date some one will regularise since it brings additional fcoffers to the Treasury. No Govt. is exempt from this practice. Instead of fining the corrupt officials and tracing the address of the builder who violated, they collect hefty fee for regularisation from the innocent buyers of the flats which were deviated from the sanctioned plans. Definitely they construct some structure in the cellar althought hey give an undertaking that there will not be any construction in the cellar any time in future. They earmark the undivided interest of the land of the flat buyer and sell it to the flat buyer as parking area and collect hefty amount. They corner as much area as possible and if any one questions he will be threatened. For example in Saisharan Apartments which are in Hyderabad, Khairatabad, Door no.6-3-630 there is a construction in cellar by the developer Pinky Construction who violated all the conditions laid down in the sanctioned plan vide permit No.296/1 of 1990 dated 30-5-1990 in the file No.118/TP5/90 of the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad.Two pent houses equivalent to four flats in third floor were constructed and occupied by the relatives of builder & are rich politicians frighten all.
