That huge hoarding
by Vagabond on Jul 01, 2009 11:10 PM

The huge hoarding - posibly placed to praise the Gods who took all the pain to complete the sealink in 9 years time (The British tool 10 years to lay 148 KM rail track through Chachar hills in Assam which is an impossible terrain- and that was in 1892). Some one just knock that ugly appendage from the road if it indeed is praising some one - it is an embarrassment. They do not have commonsense that hoardings obstruct clear traffic view.

by ramit bangroo on Jul 01, 2009 11:00 PM

Kindly, drive slowly at the turn of the sea link. Now the speed breaker is also removed...so, any rash driving can speed ur vehicle into the sea...hope the strong fence on both sides should be able to stop the speeding bigger vehicle. …So pls, Drive safe

What a traffic decipline! Shame Bangaloreans!
by Kadam on Jul 01, 2009 10:46 PM  | Hide replies

I wonder why Bangaloreans don't have a trafic decipline at all?. Look at the trafic jam of Mumbai, lined up Q. No zig zag movments at all.
IN Bangalore , BMTC buses will go extreme right or left from behind and stand first in the signal. Next comes two wheelers in between, foot paths , signals, etc etc and jam the whole trafic. Autos go to the begining of teh signal from behind and over take all trafic waiting for the signal!
Police won't stop a violating BMTC but hide and catch at a corner to collect the fine so as o reach the target and not to contrrol the trafic!
SAhame on Bangaloreans! Police and road users!

that is because only 4 wheelers are allowed on the bridge now. Allow 2 wheelers and autorickshaws on the bridge and then watch the fun!

Mr. Blind Kadam, open your eyes properly and see the pic #2 to know the fact and you call that traffic discipline, no doubt cars are one behind the other but on the wrong lane (opp lane). Pity you nerd, ppl like you are spoiling Bangalore traffic with nonsense driving sense, and you showed that you are nonsense too by telling that mumbaikars know traffic discipline. Shame on you.

Chetan, Mr Kadam may have made a mistake in this particular observation, but, you can ask those who have driven in cities like Mumbai/Delhi and Bangalore/Pune/Lucknow. There is a clear difference in traffic sense and driving.
