This is my 4 th job in last 6 years ,Last six months i am working with TATA,i'll tell you that this the best company to work with,with respect to every thing.Its policies r the best in india,no other company can match it.
Having worked for Tatas, I cannot rank but defintely vouch for the ethics and values it has. This is also the reason why Tata group could not grow as fast because it refused to pay you-know-what to you-know-who for getting work done or policy twisted like some other groups. But they chose to remain honest and professional. They never shied away from contributing to India. Some regional lobbies spoil the atmosphere of work in some tata group companies but they are a great place to work also.
Among a sea of fraudulent and tainted corporate houses which induluge in all kind of underhand dealing to make money, Tata stands out. But as a rule Indian corporate group stink big time with rotten deeds
No company has created as Great Respect as tata in the country thought they have lost NO.1 Business house in INDIA.BUT CONGRATS TO ALL THE PEOPLE RELATED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO TATA.
Its true that the Tata Group are known for their transparency right from the beginning. The kind of annual appraisal programmes Tata group of Companies has for its employees, is excellent and fantastic. Every year the appraisal pattern keeps changing according to the present needs and future perspectives taken into account. Can Reliance group beat the Tata Group in case of Transparancy ? Never, the Reliance Group is only fit for making a big show off in the business world. The welfare activities taken care in the Tata Groups are really great and I can vouch for this group. I have served in the Tata Group for 10 years and I really enjoyed my tenure in the Tata Group. Now I repent for leaving this organization. Tatas are the real pride for our nation. They have their own system of working with rules and regulations strictly followed both by the employers (Tata) and employees, which is contained in "The Tata Code of Conduct". Tata Group is the only company in the world which promptly pays all the necessary government revenues viz., commercial tax, CST, Customs Tax, Income Tax, etc. I congratulate and wish Tatas for a bright future in all their ventures and endeavours

I agree with you fully. I also got a chance to work with Tata TeleServices for sometime & came to know that Tata group never paid any bribe to any Govt. group & they don't have any provision for such expenses in their budgte at all & don't care at all if their pace of work is slow. And when we see other Market Leaders like Bharti / Reliance , none of their work starts before paying hefty bribes to anyone concerned. So, That's the Difference . And , as far as customer satisafction is concerned , whether these are internal ( employess ) or external , situations is much better in Tata. Where there is proper system of salary & appraisal in Tata , other groups like Reliance are just Like "Lala ki Shop " , irrespective of Large Corporate House , where employee's market price is decided upon Company's Need based & his / her buttering power only "
Kudos to Tata Group!!! This comes as no surprise to me as it is no doubt most trustable and transparent group in India. Definately it is not like Reliance which uses different ways to grow :)
