by Eagle on Dec 21, 2007 02:24 AM  | Hide replies

Those who are against Tata or TCS. Look couple of year and you will see the diffrence.
Thanks for even posting so much about TCS. Looks like lot of critics available in boardroom and these useless fired by TCS.
Every year TCS taking several thousands and couple of hundereds are junk. These junk will be not be trated well in TCS and other company even.

Dear Eagle

The word is treated and not trated. Also "couple of hundreds" is not right English. The quality of your post is indicative of your caliber. Anyway forget raising malicious personal remarks in the tradition of your company and please explain -
1. What will happen in two years? History is witness how Infy came from being nothing to depict excellence in IT field.
2. Why is per employee productivity of this company less than Infy?
3. Why are its billing rates lower than Infy (dont say they are not because if they were better, its per employee productivity will be better too)
4. Why does stock market give better valuation to Infy (Is it made of fools?)

Absolutely right.
I am a TCSer, I know what TATAs are into now, be it TCS, TATA MOTORS. TATA STEEL they are very much aggresive and have put big targets to meet. However the journey of target meeting is achieved till date. All the best wishes to TATA GROUP.

The large number of negative posts here on TCS are good indicator of its negative image which is great. People know and are ready to tell the reality

Sachai chip nahi sakti dikhawat ke usulon se
Khushboo aa nahi sakti kabhi kagaz ke phulon se

Someone go tell this to Rattan tekra

3. Why are its billing rates lower than Infy (dont say they are not because if they were better, its per employee productivity will be better too)
4. Why does stock market give better valuation to Infy (Is it made of fools?)

Hahahaaa... very funny Abhay, dont you think colas, HSBCs, googles have far more money and Western influence to get in to 3rd, 4th and 5th position. Learn to appreciate things and btw Tatas are very respectable group in India, we knew their credentials even before this report!

Guys
We need to understand that there will certain shortfalls & cost saving ideas in every organization without which they can%u2019t run business in this highly competitive scenario.
When you compare other Organizations they don%u2019t even give second thought while firing Employees. Where as Tata organizations are most secured Employers.
Sincere request before Commenting think Twice,
you know what Tata%u2019s have contributed so many job opportunities to the nation.
FYI Tata's are the India's largest employer in the private sector.

In other words they keep "Sarkari damad" if you know what I mean. If firing were the criteria to judge an organization wont GOI public sector units come at top? Also Tata's have fired employees in TISCO so cant say they dont fire.
Also how is this an indicator of their accountability?

Every organization creates job opportunities whats so special about Tatas? They dont do this as a favor to nation. They need people to do all those codes so that is not an indication of their accountability or transparency. You know how many companies are there in IT sector in India? All of them have increased headcount in India because its cheap.

The very fact employees are not fired indicates they are not held accountable....haha

Kudos to Tata
by krishna venkata patibandla on Dec 20, 2007 11:30 PM

A very few businesses behaves as decently and honestly as TATAs. Tatas have taken Corporate Social Responsiblity very seriously long back. Even though some of the profitable companies are paying effective tax of 10% , they do not like give back a minimum to the society. There is no doubt that Tata name implies trust even to the lay man.
