Heh Heh... Just noticed something... All of your articles start off with "There are two kinds of..."

Is that some fetish or something?

This is really an excellent article which gives the clear picture of all the latest trend in IT industry. I suppose every fresher should go thru this if they have already come out of college and currently in the process of job hunting. Really helpful and an excellent insight of the current Indian Software market.

The truth about IT cats & dogs

"Always, always choose college over branch"
Horrible advice.
Suppose u have to choose between #2 and #7, and mechanical and computer science, what would you do?
or chemical engineering just because you are getting a good college? If you are not interested, just dont take up the course!
And companies go to many colleges, and off campus recruitments are alwasy available. It all depends on what you are, and not where you are.
If you do have an option of getting into a really good college and have to decide if u should choose course or college,
well,
your having a choice of a good college in the first place implies that you will do good in whatever field you choose!
Just follow your dreams, and believe in yourselves...
