Caste system seeded hatred 2000 years ago and rolled-out sadists/savages in India. You're are naive if you think streets are safe for your women in India. It's only going to get worse in the future.

Change your thinking if you do so all the people reading your post also will change. Achieve 100% literacy and remove poverty from India. All the people will be well behaved.
Madia, mainly TV and Radio should often display ads about existing anti-rape laws, the resulting punishments for such a heinous crime before all major programs that are most watched or heard by public. Supreme court should enforce a law for the media to display such ads in the view of public safety.
It is a huge shame for us to project this way to world. However, we being Indians need to also live like indian. Unfortunately our younger generation is attracted to western culture in dress code. We with a nation of more illiterates and not a free society. Hence, we should also prefer to dress which suits to our society.
