what is the harm to wear full covered dress,, why women want to reveal their body & roam half n@ked in public,, i m not supports rapists,, they are criminal & they deserve severe punishment, i would suggest stoning them to death, will be best punishment for them, but same time,, women also have to be careful & need to care for their modesty, & avoid revealing dresses,, like backless, sleeveless,, low waist, deep neck,, etc etc ..

Whatever has happened is irrespective of dress code as such beasts get turned on even by a burqua clad girl. The real problem is the poor law enforcement.

You will feel safe if you won't wear the tiny little clothes it is my way of thinking. people would responsible what they do but precaution would help us to get away this kind of shameful act.

Really, you think the girls who got raped till now were all wearing short clothes that's why they got raped??!!

It's a surprise guys like you support or justify what is happening. There should be absolutely no reason for anyone to rape anyone. Get that freakin thing in your mind.

Do you even understand the enormity of the issue when bunch of guys force themselves on a women. Nothing's more barbaric and inhuman than that.

The only response should be outrage, anything less than that is inhuman.

What is Indian culture dress? Culture is not 'CONSTANT'. It moves with time.I don't think it is the dress which provoke criminals. It is the problem in upbringing. Another, may be, reason is sexually explicit 'item' dances in Bollywood movies. The scenes might excite sex criminals. So first thing is to bring some order in such dances that is shown on TV courtesy Bollywood movies.

Actions to reduce rape in india.....
by chetan Shetty on Aug 25, 2013 02:29 PM  | Hide replies

1) Increase no. of. courts to solve cases within weeks.
2) Punishment should be death penalty for the guy who instigated it and in gang rape rest should be amputated at right location so that they can never do this again.
3) All men and women between 22 and 26 should serve in Indian armed forces for at least two years to know what is life, giving, scarify and how to respect women.
4) Add proper study materials to social science to teach implications of rape at schooling between the age of 12 to 15 yrs.

We Indians are developing into a waste lot of people who are extremely selfish and mean. Next govt implement this and see how we can change the game.
