Very sad article. Jus coz urs didnt work doesnt mean u impose your "dont buy" verdict on all. It's ppl with unilateral views like you who are a bane to India. You must have made more money writing this article than you lost on Aakash and that is if you actually did. What if you can get it working again. Will you tender an unconditional apology to the makers. your negativity sucks. Sad article indeed

Dude, I wish you had bought it and faced the same scenario. Not working, no response from help centers. Money is money whether 2500 or 25000 or whether his or yours. Pls learn to respect others. He is just trying to spread awareness. If that's your problem, why come and read it and provide a comment. The heading is clear enough to specify what the article is about.

Dear Mr. Syed Firdaus Ashraf,
It is unfortunate that the device was not in the pristine condition that we endeavour to deliver all our products in to our customers. The customer service number that you are trying to call is experiencing a very heavy call volume, so we apologize for the inconvenience. We are working hard to increase our capacity to handle this call volume. Please call the direct line customer service numbers given on an insert in the device package and your problem will be addressed by our tech support team. If needed, your device will be replaced with a new one. If you can provide me your direct contact information, we’ll be happy to call you and resolve this issue.

Thanks
-Team Datawind

Dear Team Data Wind. Customer service center experience a heavy volume? Does this mean you are getting too many complaints?

Why can't you keep different nos for sales inquiries and complaints,or by giving the choice of selecting the desired dept, as you are new to this business, it will help you avoid these type of complaints.

Exagerrations and a little more

The above review by Mr. Ashraf is a bit exagerrated. I got one for my nephew and though it does not perform as well as ipad or even the stinker from Reliance or Spice, it is what I expected for 2500 bucks. My browser conked, it wont play music properly, the videos do not play properly, but it plays golf and memory games. Also Sudoku. It easily gets on to the Wifi and downloads things and yes, I had called the support numbers when I had issues and they were answered. So I would say dont have too many expectations from Aakash and you wont be disappointed. It is good for children and strictly not for serious use. You can read e-books on it though. So decide what you are buying it for and then go for it.

Aakash Tablet PC

As per few post it is true that every product which come in market at first is not fullfeel with all feature what customer required.
It takes time and some times it fails to deliver such services, but it not means that it is bad. We need to wait or give second chance to recover/ improve the quality and productivity.

Aakash is one of the innovative organization in india which is providing indian i-PAD for very cheap rates like china products. We know very well about NANO, at first tata tried to deliver it in 1 Lack (Garib car) but due to such resions it become costlier and the plan was got failed, b-coz additional 50K to 70K we will get good car(look wise).

My intention is that we need to support such products and provide our ideas and suggestion for improvement of quality and productivity.
It improves indian market as well as indian-based production.

Aakash is excellent . It looks you are a paid writer by the costly ipad makers. Mr Balakrishna please sack your content writers for publishing these paid writers.
