I dont understand this thing about Queue thing. In the US when a new Iphone or Ipad is released, people queue up to buy. Some even queue days before the launch with their foood and sleeping kit
see he telling not to buy, it is not of the technical fault that caused. But, for not receiving any solutions for the same .. customer support telephone no. not working .. not getting any responses over e-mail.. what does all this means?? we buy a thing for it proper usage,,,,, if we don't we are definitely going to be irated.. and PLEASE TELL ME HOW MANY OF YOU COMMENTING HAS USED AKAASH.....NONE RIGHT?? think twice before posting....
Ramjethmalani rightly said sometime ago, that the rot in the system is not because of UNEDUCATED POLITICAL LEADERS LIKE LALOO YADAV but EDUCATED SOPHISTICATED SCOUNDRELS!
Now let me address assumptions that went into your judgment.
1. There are more than 600 components that go into the manufacturing of a tablet. All these components normally are embedded on cards and the manufacturer of the tablet buys these cards and assembles them. There are about 6-10 cards in each tablet.
But each component is sourced by the card manufacturer from small vendors and there is a lot of value chain that goes into it.
Plus branding expenses and advertising expenses and high employee and administrative expenses plus taxes that costs a tablet anywhere between 20K to 30K.
2. What Aakash did was that they directly sourced all 600 odd components and had reduced the value chain to the minimum possible.
Plus Govt assured business increased volumes tremendously and also nearly 50% subsidy from Govt on those sold to schools.
There are virtually no promotional expenses and low employee expenses as they are not from Microsoft and Apple.
3. If your Aakash crashed on day one you will get a replacement under warranty just the same way other tablets. Now calculate what % of crashes of Akaash given its phenomenal numbers. Not more than others.
4.Ration food is cheaper because of subsidies and you have a right on it.
I respectfully disagree with the statements. You might have received an unfortunate bad apple. Well, mine are working fine....
I am fortunate to have received TWO units of AAKASH, both in good working condition (wifi, music, videoo, n games). I am willing to sell one of the AAKASH at original cost. Anyone interested, please get in touch at hellonaresh6699 at gmail dot com (mobile: 8566006623499)
