Bingo! Rediff's got that wrong. Personal Manager reads funny.
The words most murdered by Malayalees are: kangaroo (the worst offended word), bear (Malayalees pronounce this as ‘beer’), beer (pronounced as 'biiir'. I even saw this in an srticle in Malayala Manorama, the leading Malayalam daily) bass, twitter, Queen, Birthday, Mascot Hotel, mixed, fixed (another worse case pronounced as miksed, fiksed), form (they say ‘farum’), Tortoise, turtle, garage, chassis, heart (pronounced as ‘hurt’), words like 'Australia' - there is only 1 'aaa' sound, no 'o' sound!!!! The malayalam dailies add to this degradation.
Good effort Preeti! Not sure if this is a test for an English Whiz though. I found most of the questions elementary except for question 12 where there is a catch! Thanks.
The etst comprises of only vocabulary test in which similar sounding words are used.very narrow test to claim one knows better english than queen. By the way which queen? we have a queen in congress too in India.O dount if she could marek even 50% question rightly

"The test comprises only of 'a' vocabulary test..." and also only comes before 'of'.. "Very narrow test".. narrow is a wrong word for this context.. You could try simple, childish, amateur or better still, elementary. ".. better than the Queen." .. because you are mentioning the Queen of England, it should have capitals and a 'the'.. the other two usage of queen in your little tirade is fine. And finally, No doubt if she could 'GET' even 50% of 'the questions' 'correctly'.. she's not marking them... she's being marked.. note the difference!! :)
Sorry for all the corrections. I'm bored!! :D :D :D

Well should it be "for this context" or "in this context"? In the first line you can as well put 'only' after the 'vocabulary test' part. The 'No doubt if..' sentence is not meaningful, I think you meant '(I am) Doubtful whether she could get...', other wise if you start with 'No doubt' you will have to drop 'if' and add a 'n't' after 'could'.
Its pretty sleepy out here, been cloudy, cold and windy since morning. And yes I am pretty bored too.

The test 'comprises' and not 'comprises of'. It is a common mistake to put 'of' after 'comprise'.

if anyone attempts the above test after reading your comment, he is sure to fail miserably!

Very few Indians can get all these 4 correct. Am not being arrogant or condescending. But thats the truth.
