Yes. It should be personnel manager. Rediff needs to confine itself to bikini babes and not intellectual stuff.

In the given questions personnel and principle are the correct answers, but get reported as 'incorrect'

Principal is the correct answer. You are right about the Personnel Manager though.

No...personal is the correct answer. Please consider the question in its totality. The application addressed to the "personal" manager for a position in English would NOT fetch the job.

Had the application been addressed to the "personnel" manager, it could have fetched a job for the candidate.

Slightly subtle :)

PERSONAL MANAGER IS RIGHT. BCZ GRAMMTICLY AS WEL AS LOGICALLY ALSO IT'S FITTING....IF U CONTACT "PERSONAL" MANAGER OF A COMPANY..WHO IS NORMALLY NOT IN T HR DEPT.,,,IT'S CONSIDERED UNPROFESSIONAL N HENCE THR R CHANCES THAT U'D BE REJECTED.
NOT SURE OF THEIR EXPLANATION OF "PERSONNAL" THOUGH!
