This bill should be recalled immediately.

I think the central govt. is totally stupid in bringing this law.Firstly,no child even if it is 12 years of age has the right to physically explore the other gender to understand about sexuality,it can be taught theoretically via classroom textbooks.

Any sexual activity below 18 years of age whether it is penetrative or non-penetrative act is illegal in my opinion as both the gender's are too young to control emotions which could lead to social ill's such as child pregnancy & baby mother's.

This bill should be recalled immediately.

Jackasses thinking through their asses
by Jack on Feb 06, 2011 03:50 AM  | Hide replies

This happens when people start thinking and shitting through the same place.

Whats next?

Allow children to drink beer but not whiskey so that they know the bad effects of alcohol?

Allow consensual sex between brother and sister, or among cousins?

Law to allow parent to step-father to fondle daughter so that she develops awareness about sex?

Allow child marriage?

Allow groping in buses so long as the girl does not complain (often because of shame)?

Allow 12 yr olds to watch soft porn in theaters?

-----------------------------------------------

Stupid people need to pass laws to:
1) Decrease corruption, especially in Govt offices.
2) Support farmers and prevent their exploitation by rich landlords.
3) Bring back money from Swiss banks.
4) Stop smoking in public totally.

Ever since 2008 budget when pet food and airconditioners prices were reduced while food for us humans and basic necessities went up, I have been convinced that India is on the path to destruction.

Brains in their asses! Useless dacoits, harassing the middle class and poor for upper class to enjoy.....................

Its dangerous
by Faizal Haseen Kaithappilly on Feb 04, 2011 08:00 PM

This bill if passed can be very dangerous as it will give another loophole to criminals who may force sex on young girls. In a case of exploitation the bill can prevent parents/guardians to even lodge a complaint against the criminals. As per the current laws the girls are atleast protected much better until the age of 18. Not any more if the amendment bill get passed. It should be prevented at any cost. In another way it is a forcing of Western culture in our Indian soceity.

it is fine, do not take tension
by sagar on Feb 03, 2011 09:18 AM

nothing wrong. life should be as free as western country in terms of sex. what is in life. we have to enjoy to the fullest. what if boy or girl dies before 12 years. when will they experience sex. so nothing wrong in this. if life is enjoyment, enjoy it fully and it should not be taboo.

People who have showed their disagreement with the comment, pls dont behave as if u came to know about sex only the day after ur 18th bday.It is a process that is developed gradually and the law has just been sensible.....

by Sam M on Feb 02, 2011 01:58 PM  | Hide replies

This bill is for “protecting” instead of “preventing” .Such issues can’t be prevented among youngsters the due desire to Know what and how .And if such a issue happens Kids (Obviously boys) cant be crucified for the act This bill only protects such Kids .There is no harm in this bill .This can not be taken an encouragement for sex in teens .Its duty of all Boys parents to teach their kids to respect woman and treat them with dignity. Then such situations won’t happen. We cant continue to sweep many thing beneath the Culture Carpet and for How long
