I dont want my children to indulge in sexual activity when they are 12, but we all have seen it as children, either ourselves or someone close to us have had their share of escapades. But what I fear more is my child going to jail/juvi in case one of them attempts something like this. We need to see the difference between decriminalizing an activity and morally sanctioning the same. I see our nation maturing with laws like this.

That is well said. Many people have missed the point that this will only help DECRIMINALIZE any INADVERTANT sexual activity between uderage people. Nowhere is it meant to encourage sexual activity oe exposure to underage people.

Friend, Read the draft carefully, none of the girl or boy can be older than 16 years and age gap cannot be more than 3 years between them. Leave the issue, it's fine and infact good for building better psychology than desperate rapists.

No,it's exactly opposite. Rich girls can harass poor worker boys for having non-penetrative sex & then get them booked for Rape,just to get the heck of it.

Upper limit may not be there till one has erection but there should be a legal binding on age difference even in old people above 18
