PURE VEG DIET CAN BE RISKY
by rakesh bhaisare on Dec 26, 2011 08:36 PM  | Hide replies

pure vegitarians develop severe vitB12 deficiency, that causes red blood cells in our body to swell, then they can obstruct circulation, and clots can form in brain, heart, kidney and extrimities,so that sometime some part of these organs gets irrepairable damage.these are known as thrombophillic disorders. Some veg doctors, after knowing this have started nonveg diet as a preventive aspect for all these disorders.I bet its true, and check it with ur doctors who is having good knoweledge.

Rakesh -
Do you know Green grass - or Wheat grass? It has highest amount of Vit B12 and Iron. Secondly fyi there is something called absorbtion of Vitamins and Minerals in our body. For example Synthetic Iron ( which is typically recommended by your doctor) is not easy to digest/absorb by your body bu Iron from Plants and vegetables are easily absorbed by the body. there is more to it than you think. Osteoporosis - calcium deficiency cannot be cured by taking calcium only else we would have no such cases.

This is ridiculous. I am a pure vegetarian and living healthly from past 30 years. Eating Veg has more advantages than eating Non Veg. Only thing is you need to plan your diet.

Eat what you love to eat..
by Tom Dick on Dec 26, 2011 08:32 PM

Eat what you love to eat, be it veg or non veg, and enjoy life for it is very short. Forget human beings and look at the animal planet. See the food chain in progress. So don't worry about all these expert ideas. Eat what is available, do enough exercise to digest what you ate and be happy. There is no point in living for a couple of years ore by giving up what you love most.

This article didn't elaborate on its topic, which is - why being a pure vegetarian may be a bad idea. On the contrary, the article's details suggest that being a pure vegetarian is alright as long as one is having adequate, balanced diet. Please change the misleading topic-title.

old grandma tales !

Most Indians are either vegetarian or 'semi-vegetarian' (if the definition given in this article is to be taken into account).

Yet, Indian commoners are some of the stuxpidest in the world. They re-elect thieves !!
