"than him" is wrong. Shoud be "than he"
by naresh rao on Dec 05, 2011 07:00 PM

Whoever wrote this quiz, should refer to a grammar book for correct use of "comparatives". It is " taller than I" , "taller than he" etc. Wrong to say, "taller than me" or "taller than he"

good english
by M Narayanan on Dec 03, 2011 02:15 PM

It is now considered impolite/politically incorrect to use 'man'/'he'/'sir' to refer to people of both the masculine and feminine genders.
So, instead of saying "A man fell into a manhole" , you should say "A person fell into a person hole " .

PROUD TO BE INDIAN
by madhu babu on Jul 19, 2011 06:16 PM  | Hide replies

Actually basic English language was born in our country, words like brother means bratha and mother means matha and many words are taken from our Sanskrit and those fellows are coming back from other countries and teaching us, what a shame on them and also our media always blames our people and our country, instead of blaming try to show what all the qualities we have in our country and be proud to be an Indian.
