Sorry to say this-agreed that we need to be careful and not ask for trouble ourselves. I wonder if the Indian student community should unite and send a message to the Australian education system-"Clean up your mess or loose the lucrative Indian market." When will we realise our potential and economic might and use it?Do you think they could afford to lose you guys? Australian Davis cup squad doesn't want to play in Chennai due security reasons, but Indian students want to study there at the cost of real and present danger.I wonder had an Australian got attacked in India, what would be our minister's tone. All I have been hearing is- this is a sad incident, regretful etc. etc. May be they need their own kin to face some music to realise what is happening. Please remember- you cannot be scared in Australia or anywhere else just because you are an India.On the contrary, you have strength in numbers, be brave.I have been to may parts of the world myself, and am saying this by experience too.

The population of Australia is 2 crores and that of India is 115 crores. There lies the difference. The ratio is 1:57. If you have 1 kid you will do everything to take care of it. You will give him/her the best of education, the best of food, the best of clothes, etc. But if you have 57 kids, you really cannot give attention to all of them and even if a few die in their young age or run away from home you will not really be disturbed becoz you have lots more left. This explains the indifference in attitude between their government and our government.

Rightly said friend... I have been reading this forum and can see all these people mentioned above giving their so called advices.. basically saying be fearful for your life... dont do this and that.. Have you seen any foreign national treated in same way in India or given such warnings and tips...
And thanks to Bhajji and Sreesanth for the way they treated the Australian cricketers a few years ago. The whole of Australia saw it and was looking at ways to hit back to avenge this humiliation.

with so much of poice protection and publicity even a coward can behave like Bhajji and Sreesanth. Ask them to go alone to Australia lime all normal indians and ask them to behave lime this, then you will undestand the reality.
australia is a uncivilised country.simply you can judge their behaviour to see the australian cricket team.they are bloody nonsence, useless and itdiots.
I have not been to Australia but yes I have been to the Gulf and experienced that Indians are an indecent lot apart from Pakistanis. They are worse than us. Even Bangladeshis and Sri Lankans are better-behaved than we Indians. The trouble-makers are mostly the North Indians who have got this ticket from Bollywood which mostly portrays North Indian guys as heroes West India and South India guys as foolish people.
Indians and Pakis are also very lustful men. They ogle at half-naked women as though these women are aliens. They just couldn’t take off their eyes from white-skinned women. India is a united country only on paper. There is great deal of disunity amongst Indians. I worked in an organization where there were a mix of people of different nationalities. Every other national (even Pakistanis) went out of their way to protect their subordinates in whatever way they can but Indian bosses treated their Indian subordinates as dogs and as their ghulams.

I agree with you. NO country on earth was is ans will be as ununited as Indians. This is a curse for India, with so maany caste, religion, regiona, lingusistic, culturlal.clolr, shape, raciall differences. The greatness of this country is that still we are developing, we were rich in history for thousand of years ( thoug we are very poor for the past 250 years) and now aging developing at the real indigeneous fastest rate and with incountable intelectuals.
It is really sad that people have written their bad experiences in Aus and other English countries. You live like a slave or a dog in these countries just to earn money and make your living. This attitude will never make you a winner in life..!
There are thousand things that you can do in your own Motherland with pride. You can live your life fruitfully and happily in India.
Problems start when you want that extra in life.
Who said we are not ruled by these English people. They are ruling us at every stage of our lives and the impact on our society is huge.
God bless our NRIs & these foreign going Engineers & docs for their higher degree.!
Send Sh. Raj Thakre of MNS to Australia to give them some more ideas to harrass Indains. Keep his photo in your pocket and show it to your attackers and tell them that HE IS THE FATHER OF ALL THIS NUISENCE. May be it will calm them.
