Let us hope that MMS will show the same concern for these Indians (Indians from the 'majority community' ) in distress in Australia, as MMS did for terror-accused Dr. Hanif :
During the Hanif incident, MMS took the following two actions :
1) MMS lost his sleep.
2) MMS pressed the entire Indian Consular Apparatus in Australia into emergency service, until Dr. Hanif was successfully extricated from the custody of the Australian Police, and repatriated to India.
Yet another fortunate person is Anand Jon, who has been convicted in California, USA of several counts of rape and sexual assaults. The Indian Consul General in San Francisco, Ms. Susmita Thomas, is personally taking an interest in this case, in an effort to try and get Anand Jon a lenient prison sentence, paying little heed to whether or not such personal intervention on her part would amount to impropriety on her part.
Someone wrote avoid eye contact. I have been living in India for 30years and never had to do such type of things. I understand that the standard of living in Ozzy land is very good, but whats the use if one cant use public transports after 7 and feel safe? Some of the points expressed are truly valuable, but please dont make my Indian Brothers in Australia "sissies". Hope the attack stop, are there any self help Indian clubs in Australia?
My smpathies with all those who have to put up with this loss of dignity abroad. Come home and dont blame the govt. here. Try creating wealth on your own and start seeing the sunny side of India. I have done it my own humble and small way; struggled like a donkey (with due respect to that animal) but at the end of the still happy - me and my family.
australian was once a place where all the crimials and prisorners were deported to. therefore the aussies r frm tht lineage and they have the criminal blood in them. they wil never change.

u r not making any sense dude.. there have been race riots in Australia against ppl from lots of countries, example lebanese etc.
