Geniene and honest students never participate in ragging, the participents are mostly money power mens sons and daughters only, they get seat in management quota not in merit, they don't bother their studies,in their houses fathers and mothers not available they grow in aayyas hands, their main purpose to jaoin in courses are enjoyment purpose, main culprits are their parents punish firstly their parents, they are responsible, thesesragging people ultimately convert to politicians, roudies and gundas, punish hardly don't give excuse to this persons, colleges and institutions are for studies, they are students temples preserve it.

I faced intense ragging during my preofessional college days including all those mentioned in the hot ragging headline stories coming out in media. But I believe this made me stronger, strong enough to survive my struggles in life and work.

In short ragging is not an eveil, but should be viewed as a training to face this world. It turns ugly when used to show monoploy over others. End of the story, full stop.

You were made stronger to be able to face more humiliations in your life because you gave in. Do you know the meaning of strength? Coward. Why did you not fight back? You were afraid and you gave in.

I am sure you also repeated it to your juniors. It is a disease. It happens to you and that is why you do it to others.

You could have fought back. It would have made you strong to fight back and not accept humiliation in your life. Fighting against wrong done is strength. You just worked to spread the disease further.

I havw never been ragged since this evil practice is not prevalent in Mumbai Colleges. In those places where this is practiced the administration of Hostel and College should be severly punished by concered authorities.

It is a crime with a different name

Ragging mostly is crime with a different name and any severe cases of mental and physical harrassments should be treated like a severe crime.

Some people who do this try to fool people by saying that this a way to connect with juniors, it builds up friendships with juniors (how can one abuse one person mentally or physically and then expect him to be a friend) and other illogical stuff. It should be banned severely and all severe cases should be given the upmost attention and treatment.

Only victims of ragging will understand why this should be treated on par with rape and other similar crimes.
