In my engg college, Me n my friend had to do literally masturb***on to 2 bullying seniors.. I wish we had courage at that time to refuse that rubbish act.....
When I joined in college, I had a fight with my seniors and had beaten them nicely,later all became friend and no one ought to rag any juiors etc.
Well, all u need is to have mental power, face such kind of problems, remember the other person is also a human beings.
well, when I joined college, I was a Karate black belt by that time, and had enought guts,confidenc to face any kind of problem in life, mai KAYAR HO HOKE JEENA NAHI CHAHTA THA. When I was in college in 1st year, one gang of seniors took me to their hostel room and hit me badly. I was quiet and did not cry. They kept on increasing their torture till they knew that I am a day-scholar. They left me. I went to my uncle's workshop, took 3 fitter/turners who turn iron metal pieces and went to the hostel. I asked them to stay outside the gate and went inside and called them out shouting swear words.
They came out and I just provoked them to come out of hostel to the road. They came there.
Just after 15 minutes of fight, we have belted them so badly that 2 guys were bleeding and 1 had a fractured hand.
Then I cooly left the hostel gate and came home.
Next day, we all had enquiry. Authorities asked me if I was ragged. I said no. They asked them how they got hurt. They said they fell from a bike.
But after that, I was never ragged. I also never ragged ever in my college days thereafter.
Ragging is a symptom of a bigger disease that of criminalization of institutes of higher learning. Banning or laws would not serve a purpose. We have to make education tougher. Kick out failures. The guys who are bad performers are mostly the ones who rag. Imagine if they have a tight education and exam schedule, just who is going to have time to rag.
Why don't you take these matters legally, with the help of Human Rights Organisation? By discussing these type of topics we are giving it a beginning and attention. We should bring those people to justice, these type of news should be censored.
what junior, senior means, in west everyone has to work according to their target, but in india senior means not work, excessive respect and extra king status for nothing,, we need to change the law to compensate for victim and hefty monetary fines to criminal,,,
Eventhough I have not much experinced on regining side, I belive that "God never forgive the person who tortured their Juniors" They Should think the Juniors are like their Younger Brother or Sister. The education is not only for earning Bread Money But also the waken up our inner Knowledge. How do they feel ,if their Brothers/Sisters or children got ragged? I think it is sole responsibility of Education management!!!
