Who will come to India?
by Yashpal Singh on Apr 23, 2009 03:01 PM

A similar thing happened in Goa last year where a British girl was killed. If people from abroad are raped and killed like this, who will want to come to India for studies, and that will also affect investment and tourism as word will spread.
Inka chodna hi khatam nahin hota aur bolte hain India is progressing!!

the double standard mentality
by Guest on Apr 23, 2009 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

I read the discussions in this context. I agree with few people suggesting that, the ample show of women skin attracts them to be the rape victims. However, none of us can not ignore the fact that, many women who do not show their skin and wear decent clothes, are also a victim of this heinous crime. Even if we dont go so far, at least every woman in India has faced the sexual harassment in some way or other, let it be in office, bus, train or whatever. how do the people who try to justify the act of a rapists (due to ample skin show by women)justify this? In villages and small cities where usually you find most of the women wearing a decent salwar suits or saries and not into any drinking or smoking habits, can anyone justify the rape or any form of sexual harrassments o them by anyway?

Fully agree..
All Arab women wear Parda, but in every house u can find either sister, mother, daughter in law, etc.. facing Sexual harrassment.
In Pak and Afgan punishment of adultary for women is Rape by group of men.

In ENGLAND in the beginning of 19th century, a lady without handgloves or absence Socks were treated as indecent dressing and as provocation for the rapist. But u know how much change of mentality in the west now.
Change of mentality is a must. Ours is a land of Kamasutra and Khajuraho and i dont think we still have Arabian mentality in this age ...?

Punish the Rapist
by anil dogra on Apr 23, 2009 02:36 PM  | Hide replies

This is only one way to stop this act and such kind of incidence. Hang the Rapist. The sad part in India is we dont have a strict law and most of the times the victim doesnt get even Justice. Such kind of monsters should be punished publically like it happens in Arab Countries. Chop off their penis and this would be a good lesson for others.

Who the hell are u to make this rules. bloody u guys rape a girl for ur fun and u expect women only to change y dont u guys treat all women as ur sister (Except ur wife, mother daughter)than women can freely roam in western clothes nad even enjoy their lifes. Guys can go to pub they can come late n girls cant god came n told u this kya. First teach guys indian culture where womens need to be treated respectfully and not rape them for their sexual pleasure.
